2024 Weighted Blanket and Netflix, Procreate. What show do you think he’s watching?

This was supposed to be another sketch just to test my skills but i compiled a few pictures (borzoi, comfy blanket, comfy couch) trying to focus on my gratitude, and i think it exposed me instead because it looks like my dog has taken my place on the couch and 1000% binge watching a show. Next sketch is going to have to be less because i think this took like 6 hours. I’m still new @procreate. Additionally the shadows are weird but thats what happens when you are not entirely sure on what style you’re doing or using exact life or photo reference. Or just new. And thats okay! by @artbymandiemae

2024 Max’s Friend, Procreate. Youd have to pay me to finish him 🌝. When i walk my dog max, he likes to acknowledge if we have any friends around. He puts his ears up and just stares, keeping his respectful distance and stays quiet as to not startle them. He has a turtle friend too. The other dogs couldn’t care less really. When we let Max out if the toad and turtle friends are around we will know. As per usual, used @procreate and honestly was really grateful i could just move things around instead of needing to erase and redraw like irl. by @artbymandiemae

Art challenge! 10 days and 10+ self care inspired topics to choose from and listed below. When I was in art class growing up we used to have guided homework. I figured maybe that could help me shake some rust off, and prevent some decision fatigue and art block. Mental wellbeing is my goal right now and i will be using that as my guiding principle for these upcoming days. Habits are hard, so i figured 10 might be a digestible amount. Used @canva to create an aesthetically pleasing list. Lettering is an area that i would like to improve on someday, but for now Canva is much easier and prettier!!

practice gratitude: the things you are grateful for
meditate: illustrate your dream meditation scene
spending time in nature: a nature landscape
exercise: someone engaging in your favorite physical activity
healthy eating: art inspired by vibrant healthy foods
journaling: design a cover for a self-care journal
