Sometimes, in the moment-to-moment of living, life can feel exhausting. Frustrating. Ordinary. Even a little underwhelming.

But then I zoom out.

And suddenly, I see it.

A life bursting with color. Faces I adore. Laughter that lingers. Beautiful places, unexpected connections, adventures, art, and so much love.

A thousand little moments that didn’t necessarily feel extraordinary while they were happening, but together have become something magnificent.

And I realize that even on the days when life feels heavy, I’m living a life that is incredibly rich.

Not because every moment is magical.

This voyage has me feeling more at home in my body, and it’s making me appreciate all the beautiful bodies that have helped bring my art to life.

Big love to every woman and every model who has let me paint them over the years. Thank you for your trust, your time, and the energy you brought. I had an idea, but you gave it movement, attitude, and a life of its own.

Looking back at these pictures, I feel so much love for the people and moments behind them. We made some fucking magic together.

Made it to Ibiza. Road weary as a motherfucker, but my artist eyes are wide awake. 😂

Already surrounded by beautiful local art—expressive faces, gorgeous textures, scraps of wood brought to life. I’m tired, but I’m taking it all in.

This is part of why I travel. To let somebody else’s creativity stir mine. To live a little more, feel a little more, and come home with something new to pour into my work.

October is here. The heat can finally fuck off, and my particular kind of people start coming alive. 🎃

I’ve been digging through the archives leading up to my Halloween birthday, remembering how much I love this shit. The transformation. The theatrics. Taking an idea entirely too far and then committing to the bit with my whole body.

Clearly, “just throw something on” has never been my approach.

Looking back reminds me how much joy I find in giving my imagination somewhere to go. Making the thing, wearing the thing, BECOMING the thing.

And this year, I’m feeling more at home in myself. More willing to let that wild, creative part of me take up all the space she wants.

This was everything I needed in my life right now. 💜

I came to Conscious Soul Artists to share my work, and I left feeling held by the work everyone else brought. People showed up ready to learn, love, create, heal, and actually connect—not just stand in the same place and call it community.

We each brought different stories and gifts. What mattered was the care we gave one another: the conversations, the encouragement, the helping hands, the willingness to grow together. I made connections I’ll carry with me long after this weekend.

To everyone who shared their art, their time, their truth, or simply their presence: thank you. Artists, we need each other. And there are people who need what we create more than we may ever know.

Art can give someone a way to express what they can’t say, reconnect with themselves, and find a little light in a hard season. That’s why I’m encouraging you to check out my friend Jahde’s arts nonprofit and the work she’s doing to bring art to people who need it for healing.

Making time for each other matters. Showing up for a friend’s cause matters. Sharing their work, lending your skills, making an introduction—all those little efforts add up.

That’s how change gets made. People choosing to care, then putting some action behind it.
