ᴄᴀʀᴅ ᴀʀᴛ 34 - ꜱᴇxʏ ᴊᴜᴛꜱᴜ

When I saw this iconic moment made into a card, I knew I had alter it into 3D form eventually. A reason to do so was further solidified when it was voted on as my next card by members of a discord community I’m a part of. Because the community spoke, and also because it truly is a great community of Naruto Kayou card collectors, it was only right to offer this card as part of a giveaway in the server. If you want a chance at winning this card, go join the discord server at the link below and read what you can do to increase your chances.

and yes, I did paint on the back of the card for the first time in a while. Let me know if I should continue doing that!

ᴄᴀʀᴅ ᴀʀᴛ 33 - ꜱʟᴇᴇᴘʏ ɴᴀʀᴜᴛᴏ

Another entry into the Naruto series - this time it’s Naruto himself getting drowsy on a tree. When I first saw this card I knew I had work on it. I’ve definitely been enjoying working with Naruto Kayou cards as of late. Are you enjoying the Naruto series and what would you like to see next? Let me know down below👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

I love being able to take still shots as it really allows you to see all the finer details and cuts that went into making the card what it is. Keep swiping and you can see what I called “the spread” or all the individual pieces laid out, so you can really appreciate what layers go into the card. It’s probably one of my favorite shots to share. What else would you like to see in the future?

ᴄᴀʀᴅ ᴀʀᴛ 32 - ʀᴏᴄᴋ ʟᴇᴇ (ᴜɴᴅᴇʀ ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴇɴꜱ)

This is where the finer details show—layering, texture, and the small decisions that don’t always come through on video.

Added a few process shots to give a glimpse into how the piece was constructed from the ground up.

ᴄᴀʀᴅ ᴀʀᴛ 32 - ʀᴏᴄᴋ ʟᴇᴇ

Rock Lee is one of my favorite characters from Naruto because he has no ninjutsu powers, and yet is so powerful. Not to mention his character is based on martial arts legends. He’s just a goofy character most of the time but kicks butt despite having limitations in the ninja world.

Here’s some still shots of my recent card, with some behind the scenes look at what went into creating the card. Enjoy!

First foray into TCG custom cards was a success. Had a lot of fun recreating this Naruto Kayou card of Choji, who shares my love for potato chips.

My return and my entry into a recurring custom card artist competition. The theme this time was “Villains” and I thought Vader was an appropriate subject. Villainy isn’t always clear and often times we forget that there are always different perspectives. It can also be different depending on what stage in life and at what time point you’re looking at. It’s a great reminder that the world often operates in a gray area is shaped by perspectives. Hope you enjoy!

Here’s my secret santa gift for our card artist secret santa! Yes, I know, it’s a little late. This is actually my very first Nascar card and it was super fun to do. Pushed the boundaries of what I’ve done before and certainly experimented with some new/different techniques. My personal favorite was deciding to use acetate paper as the helmet visor. Love how this came out. Enjoy!

What can I say - what a ride it’s been. I started my custom card art journey right before the start of 2024 and I have not looked back. It’s been such a blessing to find something you love doing and being able to share it with others makes it even better and more fulfilling. I appreciate each and every one of you that has supported me from the beginning. 2024 was just the start. Onwards to many more in 2025!
