LINK IN BIO. Been hearing nothing but great things about @gdtreal Frankenstein (Which I hope to watch on the big screen very soon!). In honor of this, I’d thought I’d repost this Loteria-style piece I did of him recently. He really is one of my favorite modern day directors who proudly lets his monster geek flag fly. You have a favorite film of Guillermo and if so, which is it? Sound off in the comments! Also print available in my Etsy if interested. 🙌 #guillermodeltoro #guillermodeltorofrankenstein #hellboy #panslabyrinth #loteria #loteriacards #mexicano #spooky #horrorfamily #procreate #illustration #artbyrichard by @artbyrichard

Soo…I did a thing with @creep_o_rama for their next shirt pre-order drop coming THIS FRIDAY and I’m so damn excited to finally see it in its whole printed beauty. I can’t thank them enough for the opportunity to let me help bring their ideas to life, as this flick was a def staple in the house as a kid back in the day (who else can relate?), so it’s pretty fucking rad to get a stab at this. And most def keep an eye out for more work by me for these cats as they are the coolest. @mattzilla85 inspired me to post this after seeing his sweet custom PlayStation and Blu-ray covers (go check it out!). The piece was done in the format to fit a Switch case as an idea, when the game was announced, but had yet to unveil a cover. Regardless, I’m so stoked for this to drop! What system are y’all picking it up for? Sound off in the comments! Oh, yeah…Physical games, forever!✊📀🕹️ #godzilla #godzilladestroyallmonstersmelee #kaijuart #nintendoswitch #artbyrichard by @artbyrichard

🎃 EL TRAVIESO 🎃

The Mischievous One.

Some cards bring good fortune. Others bring bad luck. And then there’s Sam, who brings a whole new meaning to losing your hand.

Inspired by the traditional Mexican game of lotería, artist Richard Garcia @artbyrichard gives Halloween’s favorite little troublemaker a new card to play.

Care to test your luck?

🍭 Get your very own EL TRAVIESO card or sticker, available now at the SAM SHOP. Link in bio!

This weekend Guillermo Del Toro’s masterpiece Pan’s Labyrinth drops back into theater to not only celebrate its 20th anniversary, but also the director’s birthday. with that in mind, I thought I’d celebrate it myself by doing a few of the characters in the film (with Ofelia on the way). Still needs a bit more tweaking, but I’m just about done. Who else is a fan, and are you going to watch it on the big screen?
