We are extending the deadline to submit your creepy artwork to our Fall '26 Creep Show in the Art and Design office (VA 105).

Do you have artwork that you want to display in the Art and Design office this spooky season??

We are looking for student artwork to display in our "Creep Show" in VA-105 and the VA lobby from October 13th - November 13th.

Submit your work to the Art and Design office (VA-105) between now and October 15th by 4:30 pm.

**Space is (not that) limited by @artdesign_csusb

If you answered yes, then now is the time to submit your application to the BFA (Bachelors in Fine Arts) program.

It's an easy application process submitted via email to:

*5 jpg images of your best work with titles, dimensions, & media.
*The name of a faculty member who supports your application.

Congrats to BFA student, Jillian McCombs, on her successful BFA Solo Exhibition 🎨🖌️ @jillianmccombs

After transferring from Riverside City College in 2024, Jillian found a community of professors and resources that helped shape her experience as an artist. Through her work in printmaking and painting, she explores her family, cultural identity, and the importance of bonding experiences for connectedness.

Oct. 2 is the last day to check out her BFA show, so go do it!📍Visual Arts Center 106. 💙

SDSU’s two-year MA offers a supportive and intellectually engaged environment, with faculty strengths in modern and contemporary global art, including the Art of the Americas and Asian Diasporas. As the only standalone Art History MA program in San Diego County, they offer students opportunities to gain professional experience through teaching, curatorial work, study abroad, and internships.

They are especially committed to making graduate study financially accessible. Their students receive Teaching Associate (TA) positions and are eligible for additional financial aid and scholarships, while gaining valuable college-level teaching experience.

SDSU graduates have gone on to teach at community colleges, hold positions and fellowships at institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoMA, and the Smithsonian, and pursue PhDs at programs including UC Irvine and Stanford.

This October, they are hosting two information sessions for prospective applicants:

Virtual: Tuesday, October 6, 12:00-12:45 pm PT on Zoom
In-person: Wednesday, October 7, 11:45 am-12:30 pm PT, room ARTN 512A, SDSU School of Art and Design by @artdesign_csusb
