This was a hidden place, worn down, almost forgotten.
A toilet. Two mirrors. An old bike. Two washbasins in front of it.

Nothing special at first glance.

And yet, when I looked closer, something caught me.
In the first mirror, nature reflected itself in one way.
In the second mirror, just next to it, the reflection was completely different.

Same place. Same moment. Same surroundings.
Two perspectives.

It made me pause.
How often do we think we are seeing “the truth”, while we are only seeing one angle? How often does life reflect back to us exactly what we are ready to notice?

Maybe nothing changed in front of those mirrors.
Maybe only the point of view did.

And sometimes, that’s enough.

This moment felt like one of those you don’t question.

It was New Year’s Eve. The sun was setting, the light was burning low, and horses appeared in the frame. I didn’t plan it. I didn’t search for meaning. I was simply there, present enough to see it, lucky enough to witness it.

Every sunset tells a different story. You never know how it will unfold, what will show up, or what it will leave you with. You can’t control it. You can only be in the moment — fully — and let it happen.

At that moment, it was just beautiful. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Later, after I shared this as a story, someone mentioned the year of the Fire Horse for 2026. I already knew about it. I just didn’t see the connection while standing there, watching the sunset. And yet, suddenly, it was there.

The Fire Horse stands for strength, movement, transformation, and change. Hope, too. And even though the Chinese New Year hasn’t started yet, and even though this wasn’t a “Chinese” moment at all, it added another layer, quietly, naturally, without effort.

For me, these are signs. They don’t always arrive with explanations. Sometimes they reveal themselves afterwards, as confirmation.

I don’t take moments like this for granted.
Being exactly there, at that time, seeing this, it felt like a reminder. Or a promise.

A magical moment.
And a very good sign for the year ahead.

Being back at Ta Prohm felt special. These trees are just incredible — the roots grow through stone like it’s nothing. They’ve become part of the temple, powerful and calm at the same time. You feel so small standing there. If only they could speak.

A few hours in the floating village felt like stepping into pure life.
Most of my captures are simply living in the moment.
No one posed, nothing was planned, just everyday life unfolding before my lens in a second.

Hidden deep in Cambodia’s national park, I found a waterfall like no other. Its waters flow from a sacred river and an underground spring, two sources meeting in one breathtaking cascade.
I was lucky enough to stand beneath it completely alone. The water fell with incredible force, yet felt soft as silk, wrapping me in pure energy.
Powerful and gentle at the same time, it was one of those rare moments where nature speaks louder than words. 🌿✨💦

Wandering through the fog, each step breaking the ice beneath my feet.

The cold air wrapped around me, grounding me in every breath.

There wasn’t endless visibility, only a vast space ahead—a quiet emptiness that felt alive.

No noise, just the crunch underfoot and the rhythm of my breath, as if the world had paused in that moment.

Peace filled the air, and as I walked, the blue light of evening emerged, turning emptiness into something beautiful.

There is something alive about Reunion Island – as if the island itself is breathing and pulsing with energy.

Every valley, every bend in the road, every towering mountain is a reminder of the raw beauty and power of nature.

Whoever shaped this earth must have felt particularly generous when they created this place.

I still remember that winding road, snaking like a snake through the lush landscape. It became a ritual for us – every time we drove by, we stopped, drawn by something we couldn’t quite explain.

The view was always mesmerizing, much more alive than any picture could capture.

Even months later, that moment keeps coming back to me. Maybe it’s not just the road or the mountains.

Maybe it’s the way certain places leave an impression on you, make you stop, breathe, and see things differently.

Maybe sometimes the road itself holds the meaning we’re looking for.

They call it the Witchwood.

High up, where the air thins and the cold gnaws at the senses, I wandered through thick fog, barely able to see a few steps ahead.

Everything felt strange—still, heavy, as if the forest was alive and watching me.

The wind whispered through twisted branches, trees shaped by mist, clouds, and time itself.

Deformed by the elements, yet somehow elegant, they stood in silent defiance, adapting with a kind of raw grace.

There was no path, just endless gray. I kept walking, unsure of what I would find—until, without warning.

I felt the urge to turn around. And in that moment, there it was: a shape so haunting, so beautifully bent by nature’s will, that it felt like something out of a dream.

Maybe it’s always worth changing your perspective—just to see things differently.
