Tiago is wearing MAQUINA. in Porto, Portugal.

I saw him wearing this t-shirt in June at The Vaccines concert, but at the time I was too nervous to ask for a photo. Today when I saw him again, I took it as a sign that it must happen!

His favorite song by the band is 'dança (with Dame Area),' and some other bands he loves are Travo, Idles, and Linda Martini.

Ralph is wearing The Killers in Porto, Portugal.

It took me a while to find someone wearing a The Killers t-shirt. Along with Placebo, they introduced me to a bunch of cool indie rock bands, with each of them becoming a door to access another one. From The Killers I discovered Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, and bands of the sort; from Placebo I discovered David Bowie, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey, and more.

Ralph is German, and his taste encompasses bands like AC/DC, Twenty One Pilots, and a lot of heavy metal. With his nationality in mind, I asked him if he likes Rammstein, to which he responded "Once you understand the lyrics, it's just too much. Too sexual," and I couldn't disagree, although the language barrier softens things a little for me. I definitely wouldn't take most of it if it were in Portuguese haha.

That being said, he recommended a German band he loves, which I believe is lyrically lighter haha; their name is H-Blockx, and tonight I'll make it my job to check them out.

Cristian is wearing Placebo in Porto, Portugal.

At Placebo's gig in Porto, I encountered and talked to so many lovely people per square foot it felt utopic. You could feel the passion we all shared in the air. Pretty magical stuff!

One of those lovely people was Cristian, who agreed to be on the page with remarkable promptness. His favorite song by the band is 'Pure Morning.'

Aneta is wearing Placebo in Porto, Portugal.

Yesterday was the concert of my all-time favorite band, and I haven't felt this euphoric and free since... IAMX's concert last month haha. Feeling blessed!

When I met Aneta, she matched this energy to a T. We giggled about our t-shirts looking sort of alike, and the fact that I made mine at home two days before the concert. The whole interaction was so spontaneous that a selfie was begging to be taken, and so we did it haha.

Her favorite song by the band is the one on her t-shirt, 'Protège-moi.'

José is wearing Belgrado in Porto, Portugal.

He was already a follower of the page, and around two weeks ago we chatted a bit online about how he would sooner or later be on it, since he's always outside wearing band t-shirts all the time. Today it finally happened in the usual modus operandi of the page: randomly.

Belgrado is a band that he has also followed since the beginning of their career, and despite their change in sound from post-punk/deathrock to synth-pop, it has never stopped being a delightful experience for him.

José has an interesting page about LGBTQ+ skaters ( @skatenovale ), and another for some beautiful goth pictures and collages that perfectly mirror his taste in music ( @tratasedepeb ) -- make sure to take a look at it!

Freddie is wearing Molchat Doma in Porto, Portugal.

When he first came across the band, he felt slightly more enamoured with the artwork than the music itself; and as a consequence, this beautiful t-shirt was purchased almost instantly.

It might seem impulsive, but it really wasn’t. Freddie’s sharp taste in music and design comes from his many years in the field. He is a London-based trumpeter and composer who has worked in multiple ensembles, counting names like Daughter, Jamie xx, and The Cavemen among his most notable collaborations. I'd say the man's every move is filled with intention.
