Happy 20th Anniversary, Black Butler!❤️🖤
Where do I begin? I’ve been in love with this series since middle school and it has been a part of some major points in my life. I’ve had an odd relationship with the series. I fell out of it for quite some time because it was attached to a deep seeded trauma that I will eventually discuss as I feel can open a productive conversation within the fandom, but I want to focus on the positives on this day. It has also healed me and taught me the value in recognizing my own strength as a human to continue on in spite of that that has happened and all that will continue to happen. It’s taught me that value of human life and the beauty of death. It is a gothic horror that has provided me comfort in times of deep loneliness that I see reflected in certain characters. To put it in a TLDR, less poetic way—this series is amazing. I will always critique the earlier chapters as they can come off quite tone deaf in comparison to newer chapters and there are still some bits of the fandom that are a mess, I do love the concepts and themes explored within the series. My love for the series has been redefined and reborn anew and I cannot wait to see what’s in store as we approach the tense conclusion of the series. Thank you Yen Press, editors, and animators behind this wonderful series❤️🖤 #kuroshitsuji #blackbutler #collectibles #sebastianmichaelis #cielphantomhive by @artenyx.cos

Honestly pretty proud of this attempt! Got to experiment a bit with physicality of clothing and lighting! #aliceliddell #americanmcgeesalice #alicemadnessreturns #americanmcgee #alicefanart by @artenyx.cos

Finally Finished this fun piece! A day late to Pride but I thought this would be a cute cross-ship idea😭🩵❤️‍🩹

I like to think Nikki and Iris met at the same police station and once they were released (bc dear gods there had to be evidence that exonerated them), they go to the same therapy group and meet up for coffee afterwards to bond. They eventually make matching headbands for each other during group craft activities!🩵🩵🩵

How life’s been looking lately!
Been going to a lot of antique stores and wandering liminal spaces!
-
Taking a moment though to mourn my 700 day streak on Duolingo, which I quit bc the company wanted to be Ai first- ew. Never again🤢

Welcome to the family, Thanatos!!!
This lil baby was a blessing to my life. He started off as a feral lil guy, he was terrified of human contact- but with patience and kindness, he learned we were no threat to him. We only wanted him to feel loved and know that he was safe. He’s my lil angel alongside Perry and I couldn’t love my baby boys more than enough😭💜
