I found this old videocassette containing a "documentary" film about the activities a group of friends and I organized long ago..
a social and cultural experiment known as the *La Vida* Agroecological Farm. It was an alternative educational project centered on "sustainable development and spontaneous devotion," driven by a vision of love for our ancestor's land and a desire to shape education for a new era. We were reconnecting with our roots in the post-dictatorship years, believing in and creating "another world where many worlds fit"—as the Zapatistas say. We worked on youth rights, the rights of Indigenous peoples, environmental rights, the right to self-determination, gender equality, and the right to claim the streets as the great "public square" of those times. The streets belong to everyone; they are common spaces—places for the people to get informed, to meet, to make their voices heard, and to fall in love.
We were twenty something years old, fighting for equality and justice in a Latin America rife with injustice and inequality. It seems the struggle remains the same, and I believe my response remains the same, too: to dream lucidly with my grandparents, remembering how to honor Mother Earth and continuing to cultivate the poetry of the human spirit.

If I were to truly describe those times, I would need to study philosophy, spirituality, politics, and religion—and even then, I could not fully capture the beauty of "Free Souls Dreaming."
