9 years into doing art fairs, I'm building the thing I always wished existed — a place where artists share honest reviews and real sales data from the shows they've done, so we can all choose better events. It's called Art Fair Community, and I can't build it alone — I need your help. Write 3 reviews, get 3 months of free access. Link in bio 🙏

An hour a night → a body of work → a Sunday street fair → full festivals 🎨

Eli didn't even know what art festivals were when he started drawing. Other artists showed him the way, one "you should try this show" at a time.

The first step is easier with a guide.

Tag the artist who told you about your first show 👇

Congrats to @artfaircommunity for launching their art show navigator! 👏

Looks like a great place to review shows you’ve been to and find new ones.

We’re excited they chose Burro Tent Weights as their recommended tent weight for vendors. 🙌

It’s always exciting to see artists/vendors building new ways to support the community. by @artfaircommunity

POV: your art is now 10 feet tall in a Russian circus 🎪 and someone else is taking the bow.

Tag an artist who needs a "no photos" sign at their booth. 📸🚫

Stop paying your customers' sales tax. 📍

Build it into your price or post the sign. You're a business. Act like one!

🔖 Save this for your next show, and send it to the artist friend who's still eating the tax.

Tax rules vary by state, so check yours.

You pay the booth fee in February. You find out if it was worth it in July.

No refunds. No numbers. Just the organizer's photos and whatever someone half-remembers from two seasons ago.

Art Fair Community is where artists post what they actually made — high sales, low sales, the honest ones. Every show, one place. Know before you pay.

3 reviews → 3 months free. Link in bio 🔗

"I probably work more than I would at a nine-to-five." @elihelmandrawings

Not the answer you expect from someone living the dream. But that's the trade: more hours, all of them yours. Agency over the calendar beats comfort, every time.

Full-time artists — drop your real hours per week. Let's see what the dream actually costs. 👇

There's a reason women on the art fair circuit wear closed-toe shoes 😳

What's YOUR booth horror story? 👇

Leave an art fair review at https://zurl.co/jjUsG — we pay for them.
