Our next @artfixlondon Greenwich show is on Thursday 16 July.

Headlining will be our very own @solitudesometimesis, with a little help from his friends.

@rob_bartlitz was so great during an open mic set recently we invited him and his band back for a full set.

There's a couple of open mic slots going so if interested, ping us a message.

Big shout out to dads. If you’ve got a Fathers Day card or any old Birthday cards instead of putting them in the recycling, once the celebrations are over, please send them to us or bring them in to us at either artfix Greenwich or artfix at The Bromley By Bow centre. PansHands is happy to announce that we'll be at @artfixlondon every last Friday of the month starting June 26th until December for our Nail Art pop ups! I’m super excited as I know you guys have been waiting on this one!! You can expect some themes, some inspirational mood boards, and some incredible vibes and a beautiful hand painted set of nails by the end of the session. MADE BY YOU!!

If you’re curious about different nail art techniques, don’t worry—I’ll guide you every step of the way! From my clean minimalists to my funky maximalist I got you!

I am getting ready for an exhibition at Artfix Greenwich and all the paintings are about Greenwich in someway or other. This painting is about visiting the famous market in Greenwich, which has variety of stalls and food stalls as well. It seems to me that when people visit the market they sit down and they think about all the things they’re going to see in Greenwich and have seen earlier in the day. And so the painting is about some of the great things that you can find in Greenwich, for example there is a great little statue of Henry VIII, who is widely seen as the “Father of the English Navy” The drawing I made is of a statue by Anthony Dufort in the Old Royal Naval College. Also, in the picture there are figureheads from ships which can be seen in the National Maritime museum and a collection of people looking at different objects - I visited the antique stall in the market and I chatted to a number of people running stalls the painting also features a cake stand, which is very popular in the market. And in the far distance there is the Cutty Sark which can be visited at Greenwich. Our next NDR Music Club at @artfixlondon will be on Wed June 17 and will see theatrical trio @candideband deliver a very special stripped back set. Candide are a truly unique band and seeing them in this setting will be something to behold.

Also on the bill is the fantastic @___underdown, who will be delivering some of his spectacular crocodile rock on the artfix piano.

Come join us for another open mic poetry night at @artfixlondon in Greenwich on 29 May. As always - the last Friday of the month.

Turn up at 7pm for the open mic or at 6pm for the workshop.

Everyone welcome. The only difference between you and a poet is that they’ve done this before. We are a safe and welcoming space and we love to encourage new poets.
