My submissions to the @lensculture Street Photography Awards 2026. I submitted these as 5 stand alone images, not as a cohesive set. Response time is 1-2 months, so time to be patient! Below are the captions attached to my submissions in order as shown.

1. “Three by Three”
Northpark Center in Dallas, Texas - a shopping mall that’s one of the few left in the country still flooded with visitors daily. A true showcase of American metropolitan life, where weekdays see more errand-runners than leisurely shoppers.

2. “The Friendly Stranger”
A 22 year old Texan girl took 2 quick snaps with the subject’s permission. The well-dressed Londoner on his pre-work smoke that Monday morning gladly flashed a toothless smile and was sent off with “Thank you and God bless!” The interaction lasted less than a minute.

3. “The Judges of Carnaby Street”
A Texan walked aimlessly around London around 8:30am on a Monday and observed some not-so-friendly looks. Directed toward a fellow local rather than the imposter amongst them, the trio was too caught up in their own judgements to notice they had become the subject. In America you’re always innocent until proven guilty - they’re probably nicer than they look.

4. “Station of Illusions”
Texan visiting London went out to shoot on a whim and chose a random station to get off. Tottenham Court Road’s Monday morning rush was an exhilarating sight to see.

5. “Rush Hour with a Chance of Rain”
Shot at Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas, Texas, a park built above a notoriously busy highway. It was evening rush hour with a hail storm on the way that would go on to cause substantial damage to tens of thousands of cars in area.

“When No One’s Watching”

First time out with my new equipemtn last month at Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. I have been slowly picking my camera back up since high school, so I decided to upgrade to some up-to-date equipment and really get back into it. Made the switch from Nikon to Canon…I’m happy with my decision!
