New year, new music! Greetings from Nicaragua 🇳🇮
Photo by the incredible @nenageysen 📸

Many people have been wondering what happened to Danny Halpert, so here’s the short version, long versions is in the slides

Three years ago, I applied to the Conservatoire of Haarlem for electronic music production. Getting accepted felt unreal — the studios, the equipment, studying electronic music… a dream.

But over time, I realized I had reached a dead end with the deep house I was making. I was spending too much time on marketing, networking, and the business side, and not enough on the most important thing: making music. Music started to feel like pressure instead of joy.

The conservatory was strict and honest, but it taught me a crucial lesson: in the end, only the music matters. It forced me to ask myself why I make music at all.

I make music for myself. Not for fame. Not for money.

So I stripped everything back and spent the last two years focusing purely on sound and growth. Out of this process, ARTHELIOS was born.

Inspired by ancient Greek culture, ARTHELIOS combines beauty and calmness (Artemis) with power and energy (Helios).

This is my first release as ARTHELIOS, and I’m beyond excited to share this new chapter with you 🌒 by @arthelios_
