everyone’s curious about Artie’s origin story, and here’s a couple of scenarios which maybe are or maybe are not true. choose your favourite, and choose wisely ✨ by @artiethewheeewolf

FYI: we will not tolerate any bs 🔥 by @artiethewheeewolf

travelling is political. cycling is political. having a dog is political. living solo is political. being nonbinary is political. being neurospicy is political. living with disability and chronic illness is political. having privilege is political. being antifascist is political. engaging with communities and individuals is political.

so yeah - this is a political account. everything’s polical, and it doesn’t matter if we like this or not. by @artiethewheeewolf

today’s micro adventure

no animals were harmed in the making of this movie. Artie got plenty of snacks afterwards and decided to cease all legal action in the case of disturbing his sacred naps. snacks > naps by @artiethewheeewolf

general life update:

we are not going on a big tour next year. originally, we had planned to cycle Ireland, and that’s still on the table, maybe 2028? we’ll see.

I’ve been reevaluating constantly our wants and needs after our recent trip and I have come to the conclusion that we both need some rest, especially mentally. so we’re gonna build a cozy base camp, where we can retreat and rest, and where the environment is stimulating enough for us to go on hikes, get on the bike, and hopefully find a space for my drum kit.

guess I’ll shine some light on the decision process later, now I’m just too exhausted to give some context (which I’m usually happy to do, just not now)

don’t worry - we’re exhausted, but we also are in good spirits 🙏🏻 by @artiethewheeewolf

what’s your favourite blep? by @artiethewheeewolf

it’s a wrap

1.161km, 2.000.000 pastries, zero mechanicals, one phantastic bike, a set of the most awesome bags, and the cutest and bravest and funniest dog I can imagine. I’m tired and my legs just feel empty, but I’m looking forward to our next cycling trip in Ireland next year.

Artie’s first time having a carrot, which seems to be much more complex than munching cucumbers
