We lost our gentle giant, Vega.

Her name carries so much significance in the stars. Vega was our North Star 12,000 years ago, and in another 12,000, it will be again. This mirrors the role that Vega played perfectly- a steady, reliable guide who anchored us with a light that shined bright.

It’s wild how she fit into our family of cat and dog. Not only did her name rhyme with Gaga’s, but her last name was Walker, meshing perfectly with Moonwalker. To see the celestial connection in their names and their shared birth year shows it was clearly written in the stars from the start.

We will miss our walks just as much as our long afternoons lounging in the sun. Even at 16, Vega moved with a grace that made her seem like a pup. While our hearts are heavy having lost three of our senior loves in just eight months, there is a bittersweet beauty in the timing. Vega outlived them all, just 11 days longer than Gaga, as if to make sure everyone else made it across safely first. Now, she’s been called back to the stars to run free.

For 16 years, we’ve been gaga over Gaga. With a face like that, how could you not be? And even though she was a little gaga (which means foolish in Tagalog), she was our little Gaga (so true because she was a tiny pug!)

In her long life, we’ve witnessed her grow up, heal, explore, and age with grace. At 5 years old, she experienced a slipped disc (Intervertebral Disc Disease), and we learned how much holistic care can heal, not only for humans but for our pets too! We skipped surgery for CBD (before they even had pet versions) and swapped vet visits for acupuncture, and after that, Gaga was unstoppable!

🚤 🐾Gaga joined us for adventures from boats to stand-up paddle boards. A few times she jumped in the water when she wasn’t supposed to! She loved the water, and we even tried to help her with underwater treadmill physical therapy once the disease caught up to her in her old age. Despite all the changes that she experienced as a senior dog, she still had all her heart. And we’ll always carry hers with us 💖

Now she’s on her next journey on the Rainbow Bridge to keep her brother Moonwalker company 🌈

Happy 25th Birthday @jadajamz! A whole quarter century! It was so fun raising you as a child but I’m also loving seeing you all grown up and adulting. Like we can cruise together, how cool is that?! But no matter how old you are, you always let your creativity shine through. Keep that sparkle✨💖

Dante’s Inferno gave us a taste of what their new restaurant will be: 🔥🔥🔥!

In this pop-up experience, @dantesinferno_sf took over @111minnagallery to kick-off the Super Bowl and show how the Bay gets down. Everyone was dressed to impress on a school night and the dance floor was packed. They even had a raffle for tickets to the Big Game! I caught the @djpee.wee birthday set with surprise guest @tooshort, who surprised us with his money-making motivational track “Gettin’ It.” After previewing the tasty Jamaican bites and the themed crafted cocktails, I’m excited for their restaurant to open this fall!

Question is: who will be performing at the opening and what are we wearing?

Happy New Year! Started the year off tuning into the 80s and Miami Vice. Lots of singing along, dancing by the speakers, and having a good time. I’ve loved this resort for a staycation, and now I love it even more for NYE! Just celebrate and walk to your room right after 🙌!

I took my inner child
out to play
at Fairyland for Grownups
on a warm summer day

From creative costumes
to tasty treats,
we ended up dancing
to @djheylove’s beats.

As day turned to night,
all the smiles still shined.
I can’t wait to go back
and dress up next time!

🖤🤍🐈‍⬛ We had to say goodbye to our handsome boy, Moonwalker. 🖤🤍🐈‍⬛

For 17 years, he filled our home with so much love. We tried everything to get him back to health, but his body, weary from old age and a battle with kidney disease and hyperthyroidism, was ready to get beamed up for this trip across the rainbow bridge.

💫True to his celestial name, there was a cosmic poetry to his life and its intertwining with mine. He came to us right as the planet Pluto began its long transit in Capricorn. For me, Capricorn is my 4th House in astrology—which rules the foundations of home and family. There’s no doubt that Moonwalker wasn’t just a pet; he was a foundational pillar of our home, a constant loving presence during a 17-year chapter of deep change and transformations, with his purrs vibrating with such volume that you could hear it across the room. In cosmic alignment, his illness coincides with Pluto leaving Capricorn, marking the true end of an era. He passed under a Libra Moon, the same moon sign as me and Jada, so you know it hits even harder 😿. I’m so grateful for his grounding presence in my home and family- he was a Taurus after all!💫

✨Adding to the magic, Moonwalker’s name held the last name of the man I married. Their bond was undeniable, and the cuddles on Caturdays were proof they were soulmates.

✨It was all truly written in the stars. ✨

Moonwalker, we loved you to the moon and back.
May you now walk home across its silver light.
We’ll miss you forever and ever and ever.

After all these years, we came through on the concrete for the After Dark Tour, starting and finishing together. So many miles with these ladies, I’m happy I committed to this race to get me out of run-retirement. ☀️Today is my solar return! ☀️but tomorrow is my actual birthdate. How do I know this? From reading a solar return chart- one of my faves in astrology.

My focus this past year was action in partnerships, which I also pulled from my chart. Here’s how this action in partnerships showed up for me:

💥2 new events clients and 8 total events ranging from online meetings to multi-day retreats
💥5 new travel clients (plus 2 group cruises in the works!) going everywhere from Portland to Barcelona
💥2 pop-up astrology reading stations at events with 8 mini-readings
💥Yearlong work trade at my fave vintage shop
💥Meeting local creatives/Bay Area Baddies at Alt and leading an online gathering
💥Back to back trips with my man to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays

🌹For my 43rd year, I’m focusing on the beauty in transformation, tapping into my values on creativity and resourcefulness. Let’s see how this goes!
