Hard to have to announce, but our May show @unit3_mcr is unable to go ahead as planned. The venue have informed that they are currently up against a couple of things outside their control with the city council that are affecting their ability to confirm availability on the date we had planned. Real efforts have been made by us since to run with this same date and line up at suitable alternative venues, but this unfortunately hasn’t worked out.Based on all this, we have taken the decision to postpone the show, with the hope that things get sorted and we can come back. Real apologies to all those who have bought tickets, made plans and were looking forward to this night as much as we were. Gutted here as you can guess.. RA will be reimbursing you on the tickets in the next 4 to 10 days and you can get in touch with us directly if there are any issues. Kicking things off is Hungarian producer St.Iff with The Repressed Urge, a four-track exploration of the shadowy edges of drum & bass, jungle, and halfstep. The A1 title track immediately plunges into murky depths with tense atmospherics and fractured percussion. On A2, St.Iff teams up with Manchester’s @artilect_ for “Percival,” pushing the momentum into a brooding jungle roller laced with ghostly pads and shuffling breaks. Flip to the B side and “Hollow Out” continues the descent, stripping things back with skeletal drums and cavernous low-end pressure that feels almost ritualistic.
