POV: You’re an artist trying to support your own content.

A little urban sketch of the iconic Belém Tower in Lisbon, Portugal, with a very relatable social media crisis.

I stumbled into @provocaarte in Lisbon and just couldn’t help myself!

Buying art supplies is such a thrill!

Does anyone else have this problem?

Missed my train… so I sketched the station instead. 🚂✏️

Always turning a negative into a positive.

A little morning of sketching with @dmartinsuarez at the Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya.

Behind the scenes of Arting About… 😂

Everything looks nice and calm until I have to pronounce a place name in Catalan.

At which point my brain simply leaves the building.

There may be a few takes involved.

These are my sketches from the first ever Sketch Sessions Live on YouTube (Follow the linktree in my bio).

Mostly unfinished because of the 20 minute time limit.

It was great fun! Thank you to everyone who participated!

The first ARting About | Sketch Sessions with Nathan is happening!

📅 Tuesday 1st September
🕡 6:30pm CET
📍 Live on YouTube

If you haven’t heard about Sketch Sessions yet, here’s how it works...

You send me a photograph of a building, and I’ll choose five to sketch live during the session.

We’ll have a look at each photograph, talk a little about the place, and then I’ll sketch it live. And if you fancy it, you can sketch along too! 🎨✏️

📷 Want to send me a photo?

Please include:

• Your name (or how you’d like to be credited)
• Where the building is
• A sentence or two about why you chose it
• A link to your Instagram, website or other social media if you’d like to be credited there
• One photograph of a building that you’ve taken yourself

📧 Send it to: artingaboutstudio@gmail.com

Subject:
ARTING ABOUT | SKETCH SESSIONS PHOTO

By sending me your photograph, you give me permission to display it during Sketch Sessions, sketch from it, and feature it in related content, including livestreams, videos and social media, with credit where appropriate.

I can’t wait to see your photos, and hopefully I’ll see you on 1st September!
