After more than a year-long break and following A.I.D.’s incredible 10-year celebration, now finally back at the VK. To mark the occasion, we’ve put together a stacked lineup, featuring SARCOMA (Luna Jiménez Blanco @sarcoma_noise ), the Madrid-based tranny dyke artist, producer making her Berlin premiere as the first stop of her European tour, fresh off the release of her new LP DANCEFLOORREACTION. Joining her is a strong lineup of local artists: Nick Klein @nickklein____ , an artist working across sound and visual art, exploring the social potential and friction between these different forms. Also known for his series Psychic Liberation Night and own label project @psychicliberation. Mizuki Ishikawa @fun_k_son , who works with everyday objects and DIY electronics, transforming acoustic environments through feedback, simple gestures, and ordinary activities. Culture Cripples @low_life_high_volume (1/2 of Jugendwerkhof) will bring a solo set built from cut-up sounds and collaged harsh layers. Gertie Adelaido @nintendogertie and .PK. @ipekodabasi__ reunite for their second live performance together, blending harsh noise, ADHD-core, and experimental screamo into a collaboration.

aid, bizim yarattığımız değil, kendi kendini üreten (autopoietic) bir olgu. Çadırını kurduğun bir köyde, bir eylemde barikatın ardında, sahnede çalarken veya gerçekten karşılıklı konuşabildiğin o anlarda beliren ortaklık (co-action ve co-creativity) fenomeni temelde ve o deneyime tekrar ve tekrar yakınlaşabilmek için insanların zamanını ve enerjisini akıttıkları bir hal. “Art is dead!” derkenki hırçınlık da, “aid” derkenki vicdan da; “ev”i, yani “aidiyet” (ve dahi “aid!yet”) kavramını durmadan yıkıp yeniden inşa etmenin, bir yerden bir yere taşıma isteminin bir sonucu veya izdüşümü.

Bu sefer, uzun sayılabilecek bir aradan sonra tekrar Köy’deyiz; mahallede!. A.I.D’in yapı taşlarının bir kısmında oluşan, tanıdıkların başka başka yüzleri, “biz bize” ama “hep beraber” bir akşam olacak, en uzun gecenin hemen sonrasında. Dört act olacak –ve kim bilir daha neler neler:

aid is not something we create, but an autopoietic (self-producing) phenomenon. It is a phenomenon of commonality (co-action and co-creativity) that appears in a village where you pitch a tent, behind a barricade during a protest, while playing on stage, or in those moments of genuine mutual conversation. It is a state into which people pour their time and energy to get closer to that experience again and again. Both the aggression in saying “art is dead!” and the conscience in saying “aid” are results or projections of the desire to constantly destroy and rebuild “home”—that is, the concept of “belonging” (and indeed “aid!yet”)—and to move it from one place to another.

This time, after what could be considered a long break, we are back at the Köy (Kadıköy), in the neighborhood!. It will be an evening that is “just us” but also “all together,” taking place right after the longest night, featuring familiar faces from different facets of A.I.D. There will be four acts—and who knows what else:

Coming together with the new and old duos from Berlin and Copenhagen, presented by A.I.D and Amorphq at Villa Kuriosum.
December 15, Monday, from 19:00 on.

T.D.M.
Ipek Odabaşı (.PK.) and Giorgio Alloatti (MOO17) come together through a shared fascination with dismantling sound. Their process seems to revolve around tension, with each artist pushing the other toward more extreme sonic territories. What emerges is a blend of raw feedback and shifting noise. During live performances, their interaction feels like an unpredictable exchange, part collaboration, part confrontation, as they continuously challenge and respond to each other in the moment.

She understands “no-fi” as a deliberate refusal of polished professionalism that makes space for abstraction and tangible deliberate renunciation of sound fidelity.

Kevin Jansen (Svartvit, Coma Cluster, etc..) is an sound artist based in Den Haag, NL. Exploring the boundaries of sound & performance since 2009. Especially interested in the innerworld of objects &
bodies, brought to the surface through contact microphones & extreme amplification. Sculpting corporeal sonic landscapes that pulsate with raw intensity. Through extensive manipulation acoustic sounds are held captive in the liminal space between their point of origin & grotesque indecipherable slabs of distortion.

Sound designer, circuit bender, vagabond, improviser, producer, audio-hacker, instrument designer, nomad, radio presenter, workshop leader, squatter, soon-to-be a published writer.
