Gojo’s colouring process reel! ✨

Even though I’ve been focusing more on black and white sketches, this time I felt a lot more confident in colouring with markers! 🤩
I have this feeling that somehow my Rough Sketches series really helped me better understand light and shadow 🥺😍
I know the road is still long but I’m truly happy about it!

Ps. In the following days I’ll start posting again my Rough Sketches so that in the meanwhile I can work on new Anime Arts without rushing the process 😉
Pps. Something funny is coming as soon as we hit 300! 🤫
Thank you for your support!

✨Personal thoughts✨
I tend to be very critical of my own art, I look at my work over and over and usually focus on the parts I don’t like, ending up not posting it 😅

This time though, I enjoyed every step of the process and I’m actually satisfied with the final result!

Since I love drawing the eyes, I tried to convey a thoughtful look with a hint of melancholy, really hope you can feel all the emotions I put into it!

Ps. Can’t wait to show you the reel with the colouring process! 🎥

• Hooray for the Yorozuya!! 🎉☂️🩵
Made this for Gintama Day and somehow it fits today’s Inktober prompt perfectly hehe

Swipe for some Gintama goodies I’ve found during random day outs… not me getting excited over the tiniest merch because finding Gintama stuff is a whole side quest 😭

More to come ✨

• Inktober Day 7: Panic 🎮
Back with the seventh prompt of Inktober! ✨

For today’s prompt, I interpreted “panic” as that feeling when you’re playing the final level of a game and one wrong move could ruin everything 🫠

So here’s my OC, trying to keep his cool while probably panicking internally 😂🎮

I stopped the inking here to add screentones later, so some areas are intentionally left clean for now!

Honestly, I love how these prompts are turning into little snapshots of my character’s everyday life 🤭

• Inktober Day 2: Relic 🎮
The second prompt of Inktober is here!✨

Once a portal to countless adventures, now a relic of a different time! Before everything became an app, we used to carry our worlds in our pockets 🖤

Aaand that’s how I decided to turn an old PSP into a little “relic” from the past 👾

I stopped the inking here to add screentones later, so some areas are intentionally left clean for now!

And yes, this one might be a little more nostalgic than the last… 🥲

• Inktober Day 1: Apple 🍎
It’s Inktober time again!✨ And, as every year, I’ll probably just do a few prompts here and there haha

For the first prompt, I decided to bring back my dad’s old Apple iPod Classic, currently sitting in a corner with a swollen battery 🥲🎧

I thought it’d be a fun little way to show another side of my OC — he’s clearly a fan of old-school stuff 🤭

I stopped the inking here to add screentones later, so some areas are intentionally left clean for now!

And if you think an iPod for “Apple” is a little too obvious… just wait for tomorrow’s prompt 👾

Character study n. 4: Full body inking ✍️
You know the design is ready when you finally feel like moving on to inking!
Jokes aside, after exploring his features, expressions and different angles, it was finally time to put him together.

I kept it simple, but I have to say… I kinda like the oversized look on him!

And this is how a “quick” character study gets out of hand 😂 jk, getting to know a character takes time, and that’s the fun part ;)

Next step: outfits, stay tuned! ✨

• Character study n. 3: expressions pt. 2
I had a pretty clear idea of the mood I wanted for this one, and I’m kinda happy with how it came together!

He looks like he’s already had enough of everyone 😂
