Hello! I’m Halle, the heart and soul behind Artisanal Events. For the past 3 years I’ve lived and breathed weddings, and with every couple I meet, I love this work more and more.

Some fun facts:
- Last year, I married my best friend, Braeden (or 🐝), after 2 years of dating. He’s the reason this business kept moving forward when things got hard. He has seen all the victories and ugly moments - so in many ways, he’s been just involved in this dream as I am.

- I love a good romance novel (fitting, right?). I also just got Goodreads, so if you want to be friends, let’s trade book lists!

- Besides the gospel, music is core to who I am. I grew up in a house filled with it, played the flute, piano and sang for many years; these days jazz, classical, or MJ are my go-tos (though my favorite genre is punk rock which is unassuming to most!).

- My dream wedding location is Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Say the word. I’ll be there before you can finish the sentence.

- I am a sucker for a goooddd chai latte. I am talking homemade, thicker and creamy, nutty, and full of spice.

- My personal favorite wedding style: personalized, dreamy, textural, and organic.

- My current favorite wedding trend: one-of-a-kind altars that double as art installations, or sculptural pieces.

I may be naturally shy in public, but I love making new connections and constantly learning. More than anything, I’m grateful you’re here. The friendships and lessons along the way have made this journey more rewarding than I ever imagined.

xo,

Building a business, creating something from scratch, taking the unconventional route, changing your mind, trying things before you know exactly where they’ll lead...
It doesn’t always look logical from the outside.
But sometimes you just have to trust what you’re building and keep going. More things to come! 💌 by @artisanal.events
