Every step brings guilt into the light, raising the question of who is guilty out of a victim and a criminal.
As a result, there is no right choice in the situation, just repercussions.
The narrative is built as if it were a storm where the characters are struggling with greed, guilt, and the light that comes after the fall. The combination that fascinated me most is that of Maheshwari as author, who writes about the moments in between events, like what happens before a character says “yes” and what happens right after they say “no.”
No Right Decision does not talk about happy endings but about imperfections of people striving to live in peace with their choices. While reading the book, I had a lot of time to think about my own decisions, even those whose influence on my life was ambiguous.
This book is not about solutions or answers; it is about being ready to accept your choice and consequences.

Download ![From the very first page, whenever I opened the Best of Witchcraft and Sorcery, edited by Saptarshi Chatterjee, I felt like opening a magic chest full of spells long forgotten. It’s not a simple collection of stories it creates feelings of its own. Each story creates the image of candle smoke and silence which follows right after the magic was cast.
The best thing about this anthology is that it doesn’t refer to witchcraft and sorcery like they are tricks instead, they seem to be human feelings as a result of humans’ striving for power, fear, and desire to control everything in their lives. Some stories made me think not due to the supernatural events but due to their connection to real feelings like envy, desire, and wishing to get something forbidden.
The selection of stories in the collection is also great as the passing from one story to another looks like the passing through the shades of witchcraft. One moment you are amazed by sorcery, another moment you are disturbed by witchcraft.
In Short, it’s a fascinating collection that is not going to leave you indifferent.

Download ![Here’s my quick take on Shaadi, Secrets, and Second Chances by Rheaa Noor.
If I had to pinpoint one word to describe this book, it would be ‘LOVE’. This book does not revolve around marriage rather it revolves around love that does not die over the passage of time. The wedding of Tara and Arjun, held at the Chandrakothi Mahal seems nothing short of ‘magical’.
But the palace has a story of its own the story of the relationship that has lasted for years and years between Armaan and Dev. The book has many layered events and vibrant moments in it. The author manages to be both straightforward and impressive with this story that shows how certain pledges wait for years or even generations before being fulfilled. I love how the mandap has changed into something bigger it has become a link between the two relationships and two times. The story is very well written and leaves a person thinking long after reading, without being about ghosts.
The book definitely deserves attention if you like stories with a twist.

I couldn’t control my laughter while going through ‘Einsteinian Alcoholic’, I was stunned at ‘Wednesday Virus’ and my mind kept recalling ‘Dr. Ravan’ non-stop. The stories are short, full of energy, and relatable enough that I thought I was out there in the hospital corridors. One of the greatest things about the book is how it manages to combine both the elements of comedy with compassion. It reminded me of one important thing medicine is more than a simple science, it is a human drama.
The Great Indian Medico Masala is the perfect medicine for you if you want both entertainment and some food for reflection.

The book is based on Kumar's podcast and experiences and it is a selection of essays dedicated to the art of noticing the simple things of life. Be that some little-known moments of history, some valuable cultural phenomena, or just the idli.
What I liked the most about the book is its tone of writing. Kumar makes it look as if he talks directly to the reader sharing his stories with a good portion of humor and wisdom. Kumar's traveling and food descriptions are very vivid but not complicated or annoying.
In modern times of endless scrolling of content this book is a great opportunity to stop and look around. It reminds you that fascination does not require seeking after some exotic places and trendy things it is everywhere around us.
