To our @grammys, @harahawaii and @nahokuhanohanoawards friends: we’ve submitted our latest album, “Oxygen”, for your GRAMMY® consideration. “Oxygen” is a contemporary folk album inspired by a midnight trip up Mauna Kea. Each song was written about and featured in an episode from the second season of our Emmy®-nominated show, “Will Play For Food”. These songs were a joy to write and we’ve had an incredible time bringing them to communities around the world.

Finished up recording my EP in LA! Started the trip off meeting new @artistmaxnation friends on a boat songwriting session, toured @urigelman’s beautiful studio & microphone collection (swipe to see the mic Whitney Houston recorded “I Will Always Love You” on!!), along with @colbiecaillat’s “Bubbly” mic @marshmellowskiesstudio (pinch me!!), finally met the lovely @vinheastwood for tea, oh and @daveman130 got to hang out in Steven Spielberg’s private screening room LOL. ARTISTMAX is proud to announce the worldwide release of CARROLL’S CRATER, the new single from Grammy® and Emmy®-nominated guitarist and composer David Becker.

Created in partnership with the Space Channel as a tribute to the Artemis II lunar mission, CARROLL’S CRATER is an emotional and inspiring musical work that reflects the spirit of exploration and discovery.

Becker was inspired to compose and record the piece after learning the story behind the naming of the crater by Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman, who praised the composition, saying, “It was delightful to listen to, and it is a treasure.”

In 2026, Becker and Space Channel will incorporate CARROLL’S CRATER, along with new video footage, into Becker’s critically acclaimed live multimedia presentation, PLANETS.

The production team behind the recording includes renowned Grammy award winning producer Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Colbie Caillat), along with Grammy nominated engineer Claus Trelby, and executive producer Nitanee Paris.

CARROLL’S CRATER is now available worldwide.
