I have always loved capturing portraits..Even when I had my first camera back in 2016, my subjects were always people. Being an architect, people keep asking me why I never got into photographing buildings. I guess I have always been more interested in capturing people and emotions. When I first got my camera, Amma and Oppol were my go to models. They were always there whenever I wanted to try out something new. And later, I got more people who were willing to pose for my camera. Even when they were shy, they made themselves available just because they could see my passion towards photography and wanted to support me in it. @_harithaa___ @_yshnavi_dinesh @__m.a.z.h.a__ @__meeemi__ @_ra_j_u the list goes on. I don’t know why I took a break from all this. It certainly was not because I lost interest. Regardless, priorities shifted and photography took a backseat in this journey of life. I genuinely miss that side of me. I used to be the girl who was always attached to her camera , clicking, capturing, experimenting, editing… and most importantly, having fun all the while. After a four year gap, but what feels like an eternity, I am slowly getting back into doing what I love. The initial inhibitions were high and the push I needed to get back into this had to be built up over a whole tedious year. But as soon as I restarted this, I knew what I was missing and how much I loved it. Hopefully this start gets me going again in reclaiming a lost identity. Thanks to sach…for always pushing me to do this every single time… A huge shoutout to my girls @anagha_anil__ @mer.__._ @artitect.panda ….who showed up just for me, helped push myself and made this so beautiful! #shotoniphone #adobelightroom by @artitect.panda

I used to write long captions. Most of the time, they were my way of venting about the things that weighed on my heart. Somewhere along the way, I lost that. I try to pick up the habit of writing again, but I often fail to do so. I always think that if I could just convey the feelings suffocating my heart into words, I could make people understand. But I don't succeed most of the time in vocalising what I am feeling. Not a single word comes out of my mouth without tears. Still, I try to fight it because it was easier for me to write it than to speak about it. I loved writing down every emotion, maybe on paper, maybe on my phone. I didn't care where. What mattered was that I could express it. On my old phone, the notes app was filled with paragraphs of various lengths, holding all my emotions. I had a journal where I bared my soul. Then, suddenly, I ran out of words. Words mostly feel like strangers to me now. I am forgetting how I used to express myself, though frustrated isn't quite the right word. I still try sometimes, but mostly I fail. Even when I fail, I try again. Like I did now. by @artitect.panda
