Afternoon Champions! We are closing in on the final lap in this race with regards to the inks. It's my hope to have this thing ready in the next few days. It's just a matter of some details on the bridge and finally inspection of the characters and the glider above the bridge. The more definition I provide to both Spidey and the goblin, the more solid they feel and you can feel the intensity between these two. Also, since we are a few weeks away, it's appropriate now to announce that I will be appearing at the Halloween event held by @_dungeoncomics on October 24th. Details will be released later on. For now, more as it develops. by @artofjml

Morning champions. Quick Monday update after a shitty night thanks to someone leaving a hole in my bumper at an intersection due to misreading the traffic. No injuries so no worries. Bridge is shaping up and it's slowly coming together. It's my hope to start full rendering before Friday but we will see. More as it develops. by @artofjml

Good afternoon champions and here is the latest update on my passion project. As you can see, I have started to outline the New York skyline and docs around the east river and I've nearly perfected the Brooklyn Bridge Tower beneath the two companions so overall this is turning out to be a winner. Here's hoping my luck holds out until it's fully rendered. So far it has held up since I'm taking this thing to work with me on my half hour breaks. More as it develops. by @artofjml

Morning champions. You'll get another update later today but I wanted to show you the latest. The Brooklyn bridge is starting to take shape. Also throwing in some cracks for surface texture. The thing was built in 1870 so it's bound to have some wear and tear right? More as it develops. by @artofjml

As promised I have another update champions. Although I didn't get the bridge finished, you could see that I'm on my way to doing so. I've already laid in the shadows to a certain point and working on the finer details. As for the goblin's glider, I increased the thickness of the wing on the right side because I felt that the foreshortening was awful a little bit. I also added a bit of a chrome finish along the edge. And I've also thrown in the fuel ejection manifold via a few black lines. Although it didn't get as far as I had hoped today, this is already starting to shape up very nicely if I do say so myself. More as it develops. by @artofjml

With the glider inked to the best of my ability, the image is coming together. Another update will be posted later on champions because I plan on doing what I can on the bridge before tomorrow. by @artofjml

As promised champions, here is another update. As you can see, I have tried to add a bit of a velure to Spider-Man's costume. It's practical also because since there is explosion going on behind him, the material on his costume would refract the light source. The same rationale is applied to the bent right leg. As for the goblin, I've just added a few additional thick lines where the scales are to show some depth. I've also attempted at creating some dimension with the pumpkin bombs. Since each of them are a different sizes, it stands to reason that there are at different distances. So I used a thick pen to outline the bombs that are larger, and therefore a little further away from the combatants. Their actual size is what fits in that satchel on the goblin. The smoke trail of the glider conceals the contours and size of that bag which can allow for the number of bombs that have dumped out of it. Tomorrow I'm going to throw in the bridge. That part of the job will take some time and some patience. Wish me luck champions. Good night. by @artofjml

The inking progresses smoothly so far. Gonna have to define a light source to justify line thickness differences on the figures. More as it develops. by @artofjml
