Vogue´s Gallery - Art Of Meka Vogue January 2024
✨
Meka Klimekova – ART OF MEKA – creates her artwork using the
‘thick paint’ technique where acrylic paint is applied to canvas in thick
layers using a palette knife. She is fascinated by harmonious colours
and strives to introduce their different combinations in her paintings
She prefers clearly defined colours separated from each other. Each
layer has its own, clear place. Her favourite subject is nature such as
mountains, plants, animals partially combined with abstract elements. website link in bio

A pool where art becomes part of the architecture. 🧡💜

Bold mosaic curves flow through the entire pool, creating a sculptural element that transforms with the movement of water and light.

Art meets architecture.

Where do my colours come from? 🎨

Sometimes from a landscape at sunset.
Sometimes from a basket of vegetables at the market.
A colour combination I notice in someone’s outfit.
An unexpected mix of objects at home.
Or a wild meadow I happen to walk past.

I’m constantly collecting colours without even realising it — in my phone, in my memories, in places I visit and in everyday moments.

✨✨✨

NEW ART ✨ Kriváň XII.

💫💫💫

Kriváň through my abstract lens. Layers of color, a bold texture, and the contrast between earthy tones and deep blue create a mountain landscape that feels less like a precise reproduction and more like a memory of the place.

The painting is created using a thick-paint technique, featuring a pronounced, tactile texture that shifts in character depending on how the light hits it.

Art as part of the interior ✨

NEW ART - Javorový štít ⛰️
Acrylic on canvas · 50 × 80 cm
Original artwork · Available ✨
Inšpirované majestátnosťou hôr, ich tichom, silou a kontrastom svetla a tieňa.

Hlboké hnedé pozadie necháva vyniknúť vrstvenej štruktúre v odtieňoch ľadovej, svetlomodrej a sýtej modrej.

Layered shades of icy blue, soft blue-grey and deep cobalt emerge from a rich brown background, creating a sense of depth, movement and rugged natural forms. The heavy texture of the paint allows the piece to shift with the light and change throughout the day.
