I just really loved @dougmurakamiart skies, and decided to recreate one of his digital artworks with watercolour.

Disclaimer: the original artwork belongs to @dougmurakamiart and is not mine, the watercolour recreation is mine!

You've seen clouds.. now I present: waterfalls! 🌊

I really enjoyed this piece, I think blues are so calming to look at and it really made me pay attention to different hues of yellows and greens we see in water too.

🌌 Purple Moon Scene 🌌

I enjoyed using acrylic for the white, since watercolour white is just too soft on top of watercolour purples.

The final part of the 🌅🌌 series!

The orange part of a sunset is pretty but after the sun has gone down and it starts to get dark is quite serene too. 🌌

Side by side. Warm and cold. 🌅🌌

There are two variations of the classic colorful sky and powerlines setting!

Which one would you rather take a walk in? 🌅 or 🌌?

🎨 Hello and Welcome to my watercolour art page! 🎨

My name is Aarushi, I am 22, and a self-taught watercolourist.

I will be taking custom orders, and launching prints, stickers, and other goodies in the shop!

About this piece: this is one of those scenes I return to paint every now and then to measure my progress. In general, I think powerlines and silhouettes in a sky full of colours make for a beautiful scene!

Welcome! And thank you for supporting me. I will be running special discounts for the first 150 followers!

So keep an eye for that discount code when we reach 150! by @artrushi
