These images are from an impromptu walk around the older cityscape of Hyderabad,Sindh, where I went this September.Hyderabad is an amazing and simple place to live. Coming from a fast metropolitan life, this makes you still and relaxed to so many levels, and especially at this part of the city where the timeline has taken a pause, the colonial architecture speaks for itself, sharing what good or bad these must have witnessed throughout the decades.These are apparently preserved and maintained by the local government bodies, but many of them are still being resided by families, some of which are not even changing homes after they received notices for evacuation and the cautionary notifications.The irony is that people here are demolishing the old structures, not renovating or maintaining them to make either stories-high plazas or commercial buildings or just making a new modernist concrete-philic minimalist house.(Street photography, urban photography, memory lane, Hyderabad, old city, daylight photography, old structures, colonial, history, subcontinental history, creative houses, photowalk)#streetphotographers #street_macadam #streetizm#hyderabaddiaries #oldcity #architecture #fireupyourthoughts by @arts_mmetry

Fear and Loathing in... Hussainabad?This set is from a photowalk I did alone while I was there to see a burger joint, because Hussainabad in Karachi is very crowded and adored food street.
