Our first exhibition of 2026, CONVERGENCE, was held at @centurypark_cc’s beautiful Century Park Pavilion.

The exhibition presented works by four international fine artists who call Los Angeles home, whose paths converge, each carrying distinct cultural lineages into their abstract vocabularies.

Artists featured: @g.rufatto, @miguel_osuna_artstudio, @athornycroft and @studiomousetrap.

With today marking the start of SCOPE 2025 and Miami Art Week, we wish all of the exhibitors and the entire @scopeartshow team a strong and successful run this year.

Last year’s fair was a milestone for us—presenting works by @miguel_osuna_artstudio , @moncho1929 , and @bradhowestudio, and walking away with lessons that continue to shape our vision.

Here’s to another inspiring year for the art community.

And a thanks to all of the amazing people that we collaborated with at last year’s fair - we hope to have many more opportunities to work with you. Thanks to @gcs_agency , @mynameisvic__ , @aliciagutierrez, Moncho 1929, and @stevemartinezart for partnering with us on the “Latin Cultural Identity in Art” Panel, thanks to our incredible fair neighbors @thinkspace_art, @munzongallery, and @artylicom who brought true camaraderie and shared packing tape and laughs. New artwork that has inspired the start of a black and white body of work by artist @leonardo_e_marmol. We just installed the commissioned diptych for a private client.

The process began with a prompt from the client: black and white, angular, textured duo of paintings that expresses sharp movements. In person, white bits of texture show through the black strokes, made not with brushes, but with metal tools. In the light, an undertone of blue comes through in the black oil and cold wax painting, bringing an added layer of dimension.

With Art Basel in full swing, we are thinking of our last visit to Switzerland for our dear friend and renowned artist, Andy Denzler’s birthday and new studio unveiling. @artseenla met @andydenzler in 1999 while he was living in Los Angeles and had the pleasure of working with him early in his career.

Born in the English countryside, Thornycroft earned degrees from the Central School of Art and Chelsea School of Art in London before establishing herself in the Los Angeles art scene where she has been an active member of the Venice Beach artist community that blossomed in the 1970s.

She draws on her experiences and memories of nature as the foundation for rich abstract compositions. Drawing inspiration from the diametrically opposed color field and minimalist artists, Thornycroft’s work marries the empathic potential of lyrical color with the meditative balance of pattern and structure. In her own words, the work is “a response to the world I live in, the natural world.”

An ever-passionate and prolific artist, Thornycroft’s work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions at institutions like the UCLA Hammer Museum, Portland Art Museum, the Boise Art Museum, as well as in numerous public and corporate collections globally including Disney Studios and Pepsi Co. Her art embodies a dialogue between painterly intuition and architectural precision, resonating with both critical acclaim and broad audience appeal.
