Traditional Japanese calligraphy ink, referred to as sumi ink, comes in a solid form. It takes at least four years of production before these ink sticks can be sold, and even longer for the most expensive ones. A 200-gram high-grade ink stick from a producer like Kobaien costs over $1,000. And at some other retailers, prices can reach almost $2,000. Meanwhile, almost double the amount of commercial India ink can go for as little as $9. Editor's Note: The original version of this video incorrectly named the featured calligrapher as Shijo Azakami. His correct name is Sho Azakami. The original video incorrectly stated that monkey glue was used to make ink sticks, the correct type is donkey glue. โšœ๏ธ ๐•ฎ๐–†๐–‘๐–‘๐–Ž๐–Œ๐–—๐–†๐–•๐–๐–ž ๐–œ๐–”๐–—๐–‘๐–‰๐–œ๐–Ž๐–‰๐–Š โšœ๏ธ Credits: @insiderbusiness ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Sumi-e INK ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต @calligramer * * * * #calligramer#calligraphyworldwide #calligraphy #calligrapher #calligraffiti by @artsgramer

The band's best-known lineup consisted of John Lennon , Paul McCartney , George Harrison , and Ringo Starr. Widely recognized as the greatest and most influential band in the history of popular music , they were essential to the development of the 1960s counterculture and to the recognition of popular music as an art form. Rooted in skiffle , beat , and 1950s rock and roll , the Beatles later experimented with diverse genres, from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelic music and hard rock , and incorporated classical elements in innovative ways. By the mid-1960s, the band's immense popularity had become known as " Beatlemania ," but as the group's music grew in sophistication, led by principal songwriters Lennon and McCartney , its members began to be perceived as embodying the shared ideals of the sociocultural revolutions of the era. The ball of a pen loosing ink while rolling overpaper. ๐•ฎ๐–†๐–‘๐–‘๐–Ž๐–Œ๐–—๐–†๐–•๐–๐–ž ๐–œ๐–”๐–—๐–‘๐–‰๐–œ๐–Ž๐–‰๐–Š โšœ๏ธ @macrofying You donโ€™t see this when you write. But this is where every word begins. A simple pen rolling over paperโ€ฆ Yet under the surface, thereโ€™s pressure, friction, flow, and imperfection. Ink hesitates. The paper resists. The ball keeps moving anyway. Creation is exactly like this. People only notice the final sentence, the finished drawing, the result. They never see the micro-struggles that made it possible. The pauses. The leaks. The mess. So hereโ€™s the question: Do you stop when things get messy โ€” or do you keep rolling? Because meaning isnโ€™t made by perfection. Itโ€™s made by movement. What do you think โ€” is creation about control, or about letting things flow? ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ‘‡ Credits: @macrofying * * * * * #calligraphyworldwide #calligraphy #calligrapher #calligraffiti #calligraphie #artwork #artist #lettering #letterscience #letteringscience #letters #art #like #follow #followers #artworld #worldcalligraphy #calligramworld #arts #creativemindsthinkalike#calligramer#asmr#macrolens#macrophotography#lens#asmrsounds microscope #sicence #drawing #asmr by @artsgramer

Taฬ„ moko ๐Ÿ›–โœจ๏ธ ๐–‚๐–”๐–—๐–‘๐–‰๐–œ๐–Ž๐–‰๐–Š ๐•ฌ๐–—๐–™๐–Ž๐–˜๐–™๐–˜ โšœ๏ธ @domharveynz x @tame_iti "They called him a radical, a rebel, even a terrorist. But today, Tame lti calls himself a healer, an artist, and a teacher. In this powerful koฬ‚rero, Tame reflects on the moments that defined his life-from the protests and the Tahoe raids to his time in prison and the process of forgiveness that followed. Watch and listen now on Dom.co.nz or wherever you get your podcasts!" Taฬ„ moko is the Traditional and sacred tattoo of the Maฬ„ori, the indigenous people of New Zealand. It is not just body art, but a form of visual language that tells a person's story, including their ancestry ( whakapapa ), social status, family ( whaฬ„nau ), and life events. โšœ๏ธ Main features: โ€ข Profound cultural significance: The taฬ„ moko is a symbol of identity and connection to the past, traditions, and the land. โ€ข Personalized designs: Each moko is unique and designed to suit the individual, reflecting their personal history. โ€ข Traditional application: Historically, the process involved using chisels and mallets to make grooves in the skin, a technique known as uhi . The pigment was made from a mixture of charcoal, ash, and oil. โ€ข Sacred significance: The process was, and continues to be, considered sacred, with rituals and taboos involved. โ€ข Difference between Taฬ„ Moko and Kirituhi: The term Taฬ„ Moko is reserved for those of Maฬ„ori descent, while Kirituhi is a Maฬ„ori-inspired tattoo style for non-Maฬ„ori, which does not carry the same genealogical weight. ๐•ฎ๐–†๐–‘๐–‘๐–Ž๐–Œ๐–—๐–†๐–•๐–๐–ž ๐–œ๐–”๐–—๐–‘๐–‰๐–œ๐–Ž๐–‰๐–Š Credits: @domharveynz โ–ช๏ธŽ @domharveypodcast โ–ช๏ธŽ @tame_iti @calligramer * * * * #calligraphyworldwide #calligraphy #calligrapher #calligraffiti #calligraphie #artwork #artist #lettering #letterscience #letteringscience #letters #art #like #follow #followers #artworld #worldcalligraphy #calligramworld #tamoko #moko #MaฬˆoriCulture # TaMoko #Rotorua #Haka #lndigenousArt #NewZealandHeritage #tWhaฬ‚nau by @artsgramer

The brushstrokes are powerful and deliberate, creating a striking contrast between the flowing ink and the rigid printed columns beneath. In this artwork, a brush meets the past โ€” thick, deliberate strokes of black ink flowing over the printed columns of an old English newspaper. The phrase ็ฟป็ฏ‡ไธ็•™็—•, meaning โ€œTurn the page without leaving a trace,โ€ bridges languages and eras, blending Eastern calligraphy with Western typography. This image feels like a poetic meeting between East and West, old and new, print and brush. The act of writing over the newspaper symbolizes the layering of cultures and eras โ€” as if tradition is rewriting modernity, or vice versa. The stillness of the setup, with its warm wooden tones and soft light, evokes a meditative calm โ€” a quiet rebellion expressed through ink. โ—โšœ๏ธ Let's rate this in comments โšœ๏ธโ— ๐•ฎ๐–†๐–‘๐–‘๐–Ž๐–Œ๐–—๐–†๐–•๐–๐–ž ๐–œ๐–”๐–—๐–‘๐–‰๐–œ๐–Ž๐–‰๐–Š Credits: ๅ•Šๅ•พ ๆŠ–้Ÿณๅท aj000000066 @calligramer | #calligramer * * * * #art #calligrapher #calligraffiti #handstyler by @artsgramer
