Mural number TWO at Hall’s Hall for Mahjong for a Cause! 🎨🦚🌸

I’m so honored to have been invited back to add another splash of color to this special place! And the best part? I learned how to play Mahjong myself, and now I’m hooked! 🀄️❤️

Hall’s Hall has been busy with so many wonderful renovations, upgrades, and new additions! They offer lessons, open play, guided play, and leagues for every level of player. And even better, they host charity events that bring people together while raising money for local charities.

Beautiful spaces, new friendships, lots of laughter, and a whole lot of heart. What’s not to love?

So grateful to be a little part of it all! 💕

Gulf Coast Grace 🤍

Created as a private commission for a beautiful historic home in Galveston, Texas. Inspired by the quiet elegance of our Gulf Coast—the graceful herons, coastal waters, and rich, moody colors that feel so much like this special place.

I loved watching this one come to life, layer by layer, and knowing it was created specifically for a home with its own history and story makes it even more meaningful.

“Flight of Friendship” 50” x 70” acrylic on canvas. This was a custom commission created with complete creative freedom and reflects what I know and love about the friends who inspired it. Their trust made this painting an absolute joy to create.

What a fun mural to create for the wonderful Mahjong For a Cause! 🀄🐉🌸

This special Mahjong House is a place where people learn, play, laugh, make friends, and give back to the community. I loved bringing all the dragons, flowers, bamboo, and tiles to life. Now I guess it’s time for me to learn Mahjong before someone discovers I painted an entire Mahjong room without knowing how to play! 😂💝✨#friendswoodtx @mahjong_for_a_cause

Thank you for showing up, for supporting, and for celebrating the opening of Raw Edges at Friendswood Frame and Gallery. It was a night full of connection and creativity—I’m so honored to have my work included in this space along with the other creative artists that make up Friendswood Artist Collective. by @artstudio132

“Love, Laid Down”

Inspired by the Pietà, this piece captures the quiet weight of sacrifice—love fully given, not taken.
In Mary’s arms, grief and surrender meet, revealing the cost of redemption.

On Good Friday, we remember:
love was laid down… for us.

It’s that time of year again! Here is a Christmas Office Party recap (self-employed version): Attendance was perfect (100%), the dress code was aggressively casual (with the exception of the top half), and the boss approved every decision without a meeting. The food was exactly what I wanted, the music never got vetoed, and there was zero HR paperwork despite some questionable dance moves. No small talk, no awkward gift exchange… just me, my snacks, and the comforting knowledge that I won Employee of the Year. Again. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁 🎅🏻 💃🏼 by @artstudio132
