Loved drawing Sophie & Xan taking a lil break from the current story arc to enjoy some yummy Filipino sweet treats! Do you recognize any of these delicious eats?

Space Ultima turns 3!! It’s been a long journey & I can’t wait for what’s to come in the future! ➡️

This is the video that kicked everything off! I’m glad to have my YouTube channel to share my process of making Space Ultima with you all!

On August 23rd, 2026 I hit publish on my first episode. Now, Space Ultima lives across 3 comic platforms AND my own website! As of this post, there are 32 episodes published!

My art style has really changed over the years. I attribute this to practice and consistency. It’s so interesting to see how my art has changed.

Fun fact: I originally planned Space Ultima to be an animated short. Episode 1-3 was the premise. I decided I had more story to tell. Maybe Space Ultima will come to life as an animation someday 🥰

My early concepts still hold true, even though the art style has changed!

These are the original concepts for my characters. Some designs were adapted for comics, while other characters didn’t even make it to the story. Maybe they’ll find their way in eventually 👀

Through the years I’ve seen some amazing fan art of my characters. I’m so grateful to everyone who reads & supports the story I’m telling! 🥰 by @artsumeshae

Creatives don’t gatekeep! These are the apps & tech I would use as a digital artist & content creator from day ONE! ➡️

Clip Studio Paint has everything I need for Illustration, animation, & comic creation. Plus, Clip Studio Paint asset store will level up your creations! (Affiliate link in bio to start creating!)
Canva helps with social media posts, merch designs, and other layouts. They are always updating their platform with new features. It’s an affordable graphic design hub.

Edits is integrated with the features of Instagram. Things like a built-in teleprompter & a Reel brainstorming hub have helped my content.
CapCut is as advanced or simplified as you need it to be. It has cool templates & effects that ups the quality of your short-form or long-form videos. (Affiliate link in bio)
I love my lil DJI Osmo Pocket! It’s so cute & discreet. With a built-in stabilizer, every shot will be smooth & professional. Has a landscape & vertical mode.
That phone you’re reading this on will never fail. Content doesn’t start with a whole elaborate setup, it starts with an idea & your camera! Also, all iPhones have a built-in stabilizer & can shoot in 4K!

Milanote is like a virtual cork board! Add headers, images, & more. I used it to brainstorm & outline the plot for @spaceultima!
Wordpress is where I host my website/webcomic. For me it was the easiest way to start for a beginner. I’ve made many attempts at a website/portfolio in the past. This is the one that’s stuck.
EmailOctopus is a free newsletter hosting platform. It’s great for creators that don’t have a huge email list just yet. by @artsumeshae
