So excited for this super long awaited project! I made business cards! I’ve been meaning to design my own cards for years and finally pushed myself to do it! Thanks @kablaminnn for your encouragement! by @arttbylo

As a drama major at The University of California, Irvine, I loved all the different classes we got to take and one of my favorites was a Set Design class that I slightly feel like was my calling, but decided to go more towards the performing route.

It’s been 9 months since I step foot downtown to discuss freelance art opportunities. 9 months ago I was down here almost every night for 2 months straight helping local restaurants reopen and feature their business through my designs. I’ve been gone for too long and now I’m back and ready to rock n’ roll! Come down to Stone St in the Financial District and enjoy some magical grub, dine outdoors or indoors with ac and have an amazing time (gazing at my art haha)

This a-frame was created in Nov of 2020 and it held up pretty well with chalk paint, but she needs a make-over! Adding a fresh coat (or 5) of paint, let’s go! by @arttbylo

One thing artists have to face is the changing of minds, ideas, and plans. You put time and effort into creating something and the owner changes their mind and you have to redo the work you already did, never to be seen again. Restaurants, especially are often temporary, so you can’t dwell on the lost time or unseen talent. You suck it up and move forward with the requested designs.

Swipe right to see where I started and where I ended up with this super cool vintage street sign showcased at the newly renovated Dubliner on Stone Street in the financial district. They just reopened! Come for a visit to see some interesting art and enjoy some great pub fare! @thedublinernyc
