Bordeaux - Bassin d’Arcachon - Dune du Pyla - Cap Ferret

Filmer un restaurant gastronomique puis y manger, être servi par le chef, découvrir son monde. Filmer une dune puis l’escalader, filmer l’océan puis le naviguer. Filmer des cultures d’huîtres, puis les manger. Filmer des paysages avec l’œil d’un oiseau. Rencontrer des personnes authentiques, découvrir des cultures locales. Voilà un des plus beaux métiers du monde. Je ne peux m’empêcher de le dire :

🎬 “On Edge” — A Short Film About Living with EDS 🎬⁠

Based on a true story, “On Edge” follows the daily life of Alexia, a young woman living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a genetic disorder that requires her to undergo regular, heavy medical procedures. On the day she is preparing to receive a major Botox injection to keep her jaw in place, unexpected news disrupts her routine and takes her day in a different direction.⁠

The film was created by Paris-based filmmaker and cinematographer @artur.badu for the @NikonFilmFestival⁠

“The film tells the story of a young woman — who exists in real life — living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She’s a friend of mine @lexia_llm and her story deeply moved me. Since this condition is still largely unknown to many people, I felt it was important to bring it into the spotlight.”⁠

Après 2 mois de repérages, préparation, casting, storyboard, planification, budget etc c’était passionnant de diriger une équipe de qualité. Tout était bien ficelé et on a toujours été dans les temps.
