An ordinary bottle becomes the starting point for an entirely new form in the hands of Essenar Glass.

Using a concentrated flame, the Florida artist heats one section at a time until the glass becomes soft enough to stretch, bend, and reshape. The original bottle gradually transforms into dragons, sea creatures, flowers, and other detailed sculptures, with every curve formed by hand.

The most satisfying part is watching a rigid glass bottle suddenly move like a flexible material before cooling into its new shape. 🔥

Ling is a Chinese artist who uses nature itself as her brush. She applies paint directly onto leaves, grass or branches, then presses and smashes them onto the canvas, allowing their natural shapes and textures to transfer the image in a single, expressive motion.

The result feels spontaneous yet intentional — trees, fields and organic forms appear instantly, created by the very elements they represent. Her work turns an unexpected gesture into a powerful painting technique, blending control with chance and transforming simple plants into tools of art.

Glass art begins with raw material heated in a furnace above 1000°C until it becomes molten and workable. Using pipes, tools, and controlled hand movements, artists shape the glowing glass while it is still soft, stretching, blowing, or sculpting it into refined forms.

Because the material cools quickly, every movement must be deliberate and precise. Once shaped, the piece is slowly cooled in a kiln to prevent cracking, turning liquid heat into a solid work of art.
