It’s been a while since I’ve painted anything and posted. I took some time away to process some hard stuff. But I’m slowly making my way back to it.
So this is my latest piece, “Amazing Parrot Tulipa” ( Acrylics 8” X 8”)
FREE SHIPPING in Canada and USA
Painted from a reference photo which I took in an Amsterdam tulip garden.
Hit the VIEW SHOP link on this post to purchase the original 12” x12” , prints or mini artblocks.

🎨 This is the colour that I NEVER use. It’s the absence of light and is actually not a colour at all.
🎨 It’s black that I never use .
🎨 You may see what you think is black in my paintings but it’s actually a combination of other colours instead of black.
🎨 I find that black expresses no positive emotion, and makes things look rather flat.
🎨 Watch this video again and you may see what I mean
🎨 Please comment if you found this interesting ‼️ Thankyou

🎨 Colour speaks to us before words do. It can awaken a memory, influence a mood, draw us closer, or make us turn away. It can be joyful and energetic, quiet and contemplative, comforting or unsettling.
🎨Colour can carry personal, cultural, and symbolic meaning, yet the way each of us experiences it is uniquely our own
🎨 The Language of Colour invited local artists to explore colour as more than simply an element of their artwork, but as a form of visual communication.
🎨 Some artists have used colour to express emotion or memory. Others have explored harmony and contrast, light and shadow, nature, symbolism, or the possibilities of a limited palette.
🎨 For some, colour became the subject itself.
Throughout this exhibition, you will encounter bold and saturated colour alongside quiet and restrained palettes; harmony alongside tension; and representational works alongside abstraction.
🎨 As you move through the exhibition, consider your own response.
🎨Which colours draw you in?
🎨Which stir a memory or emotion?
🎨Does a particular colour mean something different to you than it might to someone else?
🎨Together, these works demonstrate that colour is a language we all understand —but each of us speaks, sees, and experiences it differently.
🎨 We invite you to slow down, look closely, and listen to what the colours have to say.
