CHARACTER - ROSALANI
-
PROJECT: GILDED THRONE

CHARACTER FILE:
Rosalani is a brilliant engineer who has designed and developed many of the lower city’s current technologies. However, her connections to the capital Halcendre makes her an outcast to Osvain despite all she’s done. She accompanies Jin as his guide throughout Osvain’s broken world.

Extra:
“I could never tell what Rosalani was thinking. Whether it was that resting expression of hers or perhaps something else entirely. She was a complete anomaly that I couldn’t decipher.” - Jin’s opinion on Rosalani.

Caroline’s negotiations
-
PROJECT: GILDED THRONE
Extra - “Caroline was always at the centre of attention for most of my life. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind she could navigate through this with ease. But then again, there was a part of me that couldn’t bring to fully trust her motives. A smile that welcoming doesn’t come naturally.”

“Trust was always a being cloaked under the sea of lies. Just how deep that trust goes, I can’t say for sure. Even then, I don’t believe it was ever someone you would put your faith in unless all hope seemed lost.” - Jin Amakusa

So it’s my 18TH birthday. Thought I’d make that known. I can’t believe I’m now an adult. It’s still surreal. Looking back agh the journey here, my experiences, my decisions, every single day, led me to the person I am today. Whether in failure or in success. I’m so grateful for my family, my friends, and everything I’ve been given so far in my life. I don’t feel worthy. Which is why I dedicate this illustration to the fact every moment—the little and big ones—are what is worth looking back on. Happy 18TH Birthday to me!
