Celebrating 1 year of @spacetodream.gallery 🎉

So proud to work as a freelance workshop facilitator here at Space to Dream Gallery, with Morgane and Fran🫶🏾. The UK's first gallery made entirely for children, tucked right into @brixton.village

Today we're marking our first birthday, celebrating a whole year of children showing up, creating, and thriving.
Come join me with some creative drop ins!

Space to Dream Gallery gives kids a space to explore their creativity through workshops, and the chance to enter themed open calls to actually exhibit their own artwork, something most children never get the opportunity to do.

At a time when art has been majorly cut from school curriculums, spaces like this matter more than ever. This is a place for them to come, create, and be taken seriously as artists.

Here's to another year of Space to Dream 💛

THE SECRET IS OUT🔥
And here you have it. I can finally reveal my sleeve and song for @secret7s x @warchilduk x @180.studios.
I chose @gabrielleuk out of reach. This was a no brainer seeing as it's a song I loved when I was younger.

"Do you have a niche".." you must have a niche to stand out" 🥴
No thank you! I do it all!

Watercolour. Acrylic. Screen printing. Pottery. Facilitating workshops. Embroidery. Collage. Pastels. Installations. Displays, oh the list goes on ...

If you’ve ever felt pressured to “pick a niche,” here are 3 things that helped me:
Also...this reel took so much time to learn and put together 😅

1️⃣You’re allowed to explore.
Trying different mediums isn’t confusion, it’s curiosity. That’s where growth lives...oh and where the ego grows and we all love that

2️⃣Your style will find you.
Even across different materials, your voice, taste, and perspective naturally connect your work.

3️⃣Joy is a valid direction.
If something excites you, that’s reason enough to keep going. You don’t need to justify it. I wish I listened to this advice sooner

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee🥹

I am a part of @secret7s & @warchilduk's incredible exhibition of 700 one-of-a-kind record sleeves, now at @180.studios until 30th Aug 🗓️

Every piece stays anonymous until later in September 👀 but everything else, I can shout about.

What @secret7s and @warchilduk have built together is genuinely special: 700 global artists reinterpreting seven iconic tracks, all in aid of children living through conflict. Every sleeve is up for auction online right now, and every penny goes towards War Child's work protecting, educating and standing up for children affected by war🫶🏾

This one means a lot to me for another reason too. It's the first time in a long while that I've made work without shaping it around someone else's brief. I just made what felt true, and trusted it. Watching strangers stop and talk about a piece with no idea who made it, and then watching people who do know me walk straight up to it anyway, was one of the most quietly affirming things that's happened to my practice in ages. Turns out staying true to yourself is recognisable, even anonymously 🎨

None of this happens without the people who show up. To my partner, my friends, my family, thank you for the flowers, the hugs, the photos, and for celebrating this with me like it was the biggest deal in the world. It was, to me 🌺

🚨I've finally got it!!!!
I've been making so many abstract collages these days from old art pieces of mine and bits, bits of junk and dried gifted flowers... and I'M HAVING THE BEST TIME 📢
I felt lost for a while with the "I've changed" speech etc etc, but I'm so captivated when I'm sat there with these silly shapes and colours dancing around wherever they please

STOP letting your Polaroids hide in a box!

I've been so trigger happy with my @polaroid flip I got so tired of putting them in an album and then storing them away in the dark
I spent ages on Etsy looking for photo holders then thought DUhhHH, you're an artist Arti, make your own silly bum.

I made these cute little things from air dry clay and acrylic paint. Super easy, super simple

You can do it too!!

Now I can look at my special friends and family everyday (and self portraits, because vanity exists)

I am BEYOND delighted to share that my artwork @artyarti_ has been selected for the @secret7s 2026 exhibition ✨

7 iconic tracks were chosen for creatives from all over the world to design a 7x7" vinyl sleeve of their interpretation of 1/7 tracks

My work is anonymous for now and the online auction will begin from 18th August with all of the proceeds going to @warchilduk to help children and families affected by conflict across 13 countries like Gaza, Sudan, Yemen and Ukraine.

Still in awe of having been chosen this year as I've been going to this exhibition and supporting them for so many years!

The exhibition will take place at @180.studios from 19th-30th August (Again whatt?!) 😍

Who's coming ? And will you be able to spot mine?
