Is it wrong to have favourites? This will be a bouquet I always remember because of the colours and how wild the flowers are. I wanted to display that in the final frame, mimicking a meadow. I think it turned out quite well 🤔😍.

I’m biased but I think this was the perfect layout for this bouquet! Obsessed and happy because it reconnected me with another friend 💕💕

My last silica dried shadow box! Look at those colours!!!
As much as I love the colour retention with silica I realized I love pressing flowers much more so that’s the vibe moving forward. by @artymartyco

Orchids are a tricky flower to preserve because they hold a lot of moisture and really have to be watched during the drying process to avoid mold. They end up being very thin and delicate which is a part of their beauty. This bride wanted to keep the cascading look of the bouquet in the final piece and thanks to the floating frame we could really see the details of each flower.

Here’s another beauty. I love the softness of it and the choice of a floating frame.

Any preservation artist knows that there’s quite a few tricky flowers in this piece (👀orchids, calla lilies, anthurium..). It’s important to know what methods work best for which flowers. So pleased with how this piece came out although it was tricky to photograph its beauty.

OKAY, this bouquet was pressed over 4 years AFTER the wedding! It’s extra special because it’s close friends of mine and every time I see it hanging in their home it makes me smile.
The bride had hung it upside down to dry and I did what I could to revive it… pretty pleased with the result! 💙

This 3 piece was framed in two 8x10 frames and one 16x20. They can hang together or be separated, love something different.
