Jesus may have walked these very steps.

At the southern edge of Jerusalem’s Temple Mount are the ancient Southern Steps - once climbed by thousands of pilgrims making their way toward the Temple. Many believe Jesus would have walked this southern approach during His visits to Jerusalem, surrounded by the same city, stones and landscape that shaped so much of the Gospel story.

That’s what we want Artza Box to do: take the places and stories of the Bible off the page and bring the Holy Land closer to you through beautiful products, flavors and stories from Israel.

Discover the Holy Land from home at ArtzaBox.com.

For such a small country, Israel holds an extraordinary range of landscapes - green mountains, desert canyons, waterfalls, fertile valleys, salt seas and Mediterranean coastline.

But the landscape is only part of the story.

Layered across it are thousands of years of history and archaeology - ancient cities, Roman roads, biblical sites, fortresses, synagogues, churches and places connected to events that have shaped the faith and history of millions of people.

That is what makes exploring Israel so remarkable: nature, archaeology, history and the Bible all sitting side by side.

And it’s exactly what we try to share through Artza Box - bringing the places, people, flavors and stories of the Holy Land a little closer to your home.

Discover Israel with us at ArtzaBox.com.

Tomorrow marks three years since October 7th.

Three years since the morning sirens woke us and the news kept getting worse. Since families were murdered in their homes, young people were gunned down at a music festival, and 251 people were dragged into Gaza. It was one of the darkest day in Israel’s history, and here, it still feels like yesterday.

There is hardly a person in this country who wasn’t touched by it. Someone we knew was killed, wounded, taken hostage, or sent to fight. Some families will never be whole again.

Tonight, communities across Israel will gather to mourn and pray. Tomorrow, people will stand at cemeteries and memorials, remembering the lives behind the names and faces. And watching hatred toward Israel and the Jewish people grow around the world has made that grief even heavier.

For the next few days, we’ll be stepping away from our regular Artza posts. It simply doesn’t feel right to continue as usual.

But first, thank you. For three years, you have stood beside us. You prayed for us, checked in on us, supported our artisans, and reminded us we are not alone. In the hardest moments, that meant more than we can say.

The photographs shared here were captured by @cgschimmel and are featured in her book, *October 7th: Bearing Witness*, which you can purchase to ensure no one ever forgets.

Tomorrow, we remember those we lost. We hold their families close. And we pray for better, more peaceful days ahead.

With gratitude from Israel and hope for a brighter peaceful future

The Artza Team

Want to bring a little piece of the Holy Land into your home? 🤍🇮🇱

The @artzabox is a seasonal subscription that brings the beauty, craftsmanship, and rich heritage of the Holy Land right to your doorstep.

Every three months, you’ll receive a new box featuring 7+ full-size products, all made in Israel, including Israeli foods and spices, handmade homeware, artisan gifts, and more.

What makes it especially meaningful is that every box explores a different biblical place or story, giving you the opportunity to discover the people, flavors, traditions, and craftsmanship connected to that part of the Holy Land.

As a Christian family, I love the idea of turning something like this into a family experience. You could open the box together, try the foods, learn about the region, talk about the biblical connections, and simply take some time to appreciate the people and craftsmanship behind each product. 🤍

It’s a beautiful way to bring learning, culture, history, and faith together in your home.

Artza Boxes are $94 each seasonally or $338 annually, which brings the cost to $84.50 per box.

And you can get 20% off with my code HOMEGROWN20! 🎁

Walking the shores of the Sea of Galilee in Israel - the exact place where Jesus looked at fishermen and said: follow me, in Matthew 4:19.

The Sea of Galilee has not moved. The hills above it are the same hills. The water is the same water that carried Jesus’s voice across to the other side two thousand years ago.

Visit the Galilee region of Israel once, and you’ll understand why this beautiful country of Israel moves you so profoundly.

That’s what we want Artza Box to do: take the places and stories of the Bible off the page and bring the Holy Land closer to you through beautiful products, flavors and stories from Israel.

Discover the Holy Land from home at ArtzaBox.com.
