Meet the Minds Behind Baarah: Aruna & Dimple

Two people who decided that life should have more spontaneous adventures, unexpected stories, and fewer boring meetups.

Both have spent years working with different communities, artists, and brands, curating events that make people go, “Wait, that was actually fun.” With Baarah, they’re crafting a space where art, play, and deep-but-not-too-deep conversations thrive.

🪩 Aruna – A Singer-songwriter, marketing strategist, and curator of many events and workshops for artists and brands. Loves impromptu plans, and calling things “vibes.” Also the person most likely to turn a casual idea into a full-blown project.

🪩Dimple – A certified, hardworking nail technician with a perfect blend of beauty with brains. Can fix nails, fix plans, and occasionally fix lives with well-timed advice, (personal therapist of Aruna). Has a way of making people feel at home even in the most unexpected settings.🪛

Together, they make sure Baarah stays seriously unserious, delightfully unpredictable, and always worth showing up for.

Come for the events. Stay for the people. Or just show up for the snacks - we won’t judge. 😉 by @arunoo.mov

Some things aren’t meant to be defined by gender, just by how they make you feel.

In @__gardenofeden___ , every piece holds a memory, petals, ocean treasures, fragments of something softer. Made with care, no insects or animals are harmed, each butterfly is preserved only after its natural life.

There’s a quiet warmth to it, something you notice instantly in @yashwant_lakra_ and in everything he creates.

Not made for labels, just made to be felt.🌸🦋 taken in India by @arunoo.mov

Imagine accidentally stumbling into a 100-year-old bungalow full of artists during a random Urban Sketchers Raipur meet.

Yeah… sounds like the kind of thing people say “I wish I was there for that.”

Because while some of you were busy scrolling, we were out here sketching inside a time capsule> walls, stories, and culture that have been quietly living for decades.

But hey, don’t worry. Missing the raid was a great choice too.

Huge shoutout to @urbansketchersraipur and @raww_shiny for pulling this off. Absolute top-tier experience. 🫡 by @arunoo.mov

(Last three slides exhibit a shade of red that is imperceptible to the human eye.)
