Excited to talk about a new project coming out under the ARVØW alias. I really didn’t think there would be another. But thankfully things have changed and there’s more on its way out 🫡 excited to drop these ones.

While I’m polishing these tunes up, I’ve dropped an edit of ‘Control’ by @noimpurity & @varg2tm . Loved the tune from the first time I listened so wanted to flip it into something a bit jungly. Up on my soundcloud now Free DL 💽 enjoy taken in London, United Kingdom by @arv0w

I think it’s time for some explaining… ARVØW is a project I’ve worked on for the past 8 years. It’s an ambient themed world ruled by chaos. It’s been a good way for me to express, and an even better place to learn this music I’ve always been inspired by.

But, I think it’s time for a change, what I’m creating now just doesn’t fit under this umbrella anymore. It’s been a beautiful time and I am not 100% saying this is it for ARVØW. I will find myself making some of this hectic breaks on soft ambient type of stuff, for sure. But right now. This is it.

As a final send off I wanted to make something that kind of expresses what this project has been to me. @mssingno track “Fones” caught my attention a couple years ago and has been replayed numerous times on loop since. (In my world Mssingno is part of this incredible collection of artists I’ve been truly blown away by since I was about 17). “Fones” was released on a record label that has been hugely influential to myself and the entire electronic music scene. Since a kid I had heard of @xlrecordings from my dad. Listening to Liquid “Sweet Harmony” while driving around in an old Ford Capri. It stuck with me. The breaks became a pivotal part of most heavier productions I wanted to make. The rhythm of a 138bpm crunchy break just makes me smile.

So as a thank you to everyone who has supported, streamed, bought vinyls etc. over the past 8 or so years, I want to give you one last typical ARVØW edit to enjoy ❤️ tomorrow at 6PM on Soundcloud

‘Aurora’ visualiser is now available to watch on YouTube!

This visualiser holds its own story, take from it what you will. This track is a concept I created after pretty much no human contact for 9 days during the inter in Norway. The emotions were flowing but I was in the most beautiful place i had ever seen. I feel like the track + visualiser replicate those emotions 🌐🫶🏼
