We’ve welcomed new followers over the years, lessons have been learned, and we have grown in our mission. The board felt it was time to re-introduce ourselves and share what our foundation is truly all about! We have so much more exciting news coming… 🤍🩷

A World Vision: Ashton Rae Woods Foundation is dedicated to honoring Ashton Woods’ legacy by creating a profound and lasting impact in communities around the world.

Our mission is built on three core pillars:
🌎 Community Outreach – We focus on serving underserved, neglected, and marginalized communities, providing vital resources, support, and advocacy to help individuals overcome adversity and thrive.

📚 Education & Legislative Advocacy – We are committed to raising awareness about the dangers of texting while driving, a cause that profoundly impacted our mission. Through education campaigns, community partnerships, and legislative advocacy, we work to prevent future tragedies, support families affected by texting-related accidents, and drive policy changes to create safer roads and communities.

💌 Scholarship– We offer financial scholarships to individuals pursuing missionary work or those facing unexpected hardships, enabling them to continue their education, service, and personal growth, regardless of financial barriers.

Through these efforts, we aim to foster empowerment, inspire hope, create meaningful opportunities, and build a safer, more compassionate future for all.

Today marks four years since Ashton was killed in a distracted driving accident. Four years without her, but four years of working to make sure her life continues to make a difference.

Ashton’s faith and love for others took her around the world to serve. Through A World Vision: Ashton Rae Woods Foundation, we have continued that work in her honor—and worked toward change here at home.

Her legacy is part of Arkansas law through Ashton’s and Abbie’s Law, passed in 2023 to strengthen penalties for distracted driving crashes that cause serious injury or death. We continue advocating for safer roads because we know the lifelong heartbreak that one distracted decision can cause.

We have awarded mission scholarships to help others answer the call to serve and share the Gospel, carrying forward the work Ashton loved so deeply.

And this year, we announced our first local college scholarships for students in Shirley and West Side School Districts, helping a new generation pursue their futures in her name.

There is still so much we want to do.

Today, will you help us continue Ashton’s legacy? A donation in her memory helps fund scholarships, support mission work, and sustain our outreach and advocacy.

We are so excited to announce a NEW chapter for A World Vision: Ashton Rae Woods Foundation. 💗🎓

For the first time, our foundation will be awarding college scholarships to local students!

During the 2026–2027 school year, TWO scholarships will be available — one for a student from Shirley School District and one for a student from West Side School District.

Since the beginning, our mission has been rooted in keeping Ashton’s memory and light alive by giving back, creating opportunities, and making a meaningful difference in the communities that meant so much to her. Establishing these scholarships feels like such a special next step in that mission.

Because of the incredible support of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, golf tournament participants, and everyone who continues to believe in A World Vision, we now have the opportunity to invest directly in the futures of two local students as they take their next step beyond high school.

Students will be eligible to apply during the 2026–2027 school year through their school’s administration office, with more details to come as the application period approaches.

Two scholarships. Two opportunities. One bright future. 🌸📚🎓 by @arwfoundation

We are honored to announce Caleb Parish as our latest scholarship awardee through the Ashton Rae Woods Foundation.

At 22 years old, Caleb is already serving in full-time ministry and traveling to share the Gospel through evangelistic ministry. Growing up in a pastor’s home, ministry has always been a part of his life, but at 19 he stepped into vocational ministry as a youth pastor before feeling led by the Lord into evangelism and missions.

This upcoming missions trip will include hosting kids crusades, youth services, ministering in local churches, and participating in food outreaches to serve communities and share the love of Jesus. After experiencing his first international missions trip last year, Caleb shared that it stirred his heart to continue mission work both at home and abroad.

We are grateful to play a small part in supporting the calling God has placed on his life and can’t wait to see the impact this trip will make. 💕 by @arwfoundation

We’re proud to announce Alisha as our first 2026 scholarship recipient for her mission trip to Macedonia. ✨

This will be Alisha’s third year serving alongside the Lighthouse of Hope Foundation, partnering with a therapy center that cares for orphaned children with special needs. As a pediatric nurse, her heart for children and passion for serving others shines through in this incredible work.

This year, she’ll help support a children’s camp by bringing much-needed supplies like craft materials, shoes, clothing, and other essentials for the children they serve.

We are so proud to support Alisha’s mission and grateful for the impact she is making in the lives of these precious children. Congratulations, Alisha, on being our first 2026 awardee — we can’t wait to see all that God does through this journey. 💗
