POSTS STORIES REELS

Dearest family,

For the past two years, you have followed our love story both here on social media and in real life. You’ve witnessed our growth, our losses, our wins, our laughter, and the beautiful moments in between, and for every like, comment, repost, prayer, and show of love, we are deeply grateful.

The video currently on your screen cannot fully capture the depth of the love story we have built together over the years, but we did our best to share fragments of it, hoping to leave you with something memorable whenever you think of the love story of Samuel S. Okpo and Jecoliah Arian Alamba — Arysammie.

Some time ago, @enioluwaofficial and @phina__tz announced that they would sponsor one lucky couple’s wedding through their challenge using the song I Do and the hashtag #WeSayIDo. Couples were invited to tell their love stories using the sound, and when we came across the video, we decided to take a leap of faith and join in.

So, this is our entry.

It is our desire that this little video brings you into our world — a world of choosing one another over and over again, of sacrifice, commitment, growth, patience, kindness, friendship, healing, joy, and intentional love. And beyond the challenge itself, we hope this reminds people that genuine love still exists.

We truly hope to be selected as that lucky couple because, without hesitation, we would say “I do” to each other any day, any time. We are, without doubt, each other’s choice.

Thank you for taking the time to watch, engage with, and celebrate this beautiful little love story wrapped in a few frames and simple words. Your love means more to us than you know.

And most importantly, we are proud of ourselves for having the courage to share this publicly. We trust God’s grace and favour concerning this journey and whatever comes with it.

We’ll be back again soon to celebrate with you all.

With love,
Arysammie — your favourite fire duo.

SHE SAID YES!!!

This day has played multiple times in my head, with lots of differing scenarios but particularly because you’re deserving of the whole world and one has got to get it right on their very first try.

With little to no mentorship or guide we’ve come this far, figuring things out together and making as much impact as we can in our small corner. And with multitude of counselors we are assured safety, this is how I know we will do even more than we’re able to comprehend.

Thank you for saying YES to US
Thank you my Purple Phoenix 🐦‍🔥

Our world is waiting for us and….
We’ve got a wedding to plan; now shall we?🧡🧡 by @aryaangold

Apparently this is the only way to get me to shut up😂🥰❤️. Luckily for me, only one person gets to do that forever🤭. by @aryaangold

Imagine a world without saints filled with the spirit of God!
I’m so happy I belong to the body of Christ! Thank you Jesus for honoring men with your spirit! Glory to God❤️ by @aryaangold

I started the challenge and task recap series because I thought it would be a fun way to help my Missys become more comfortable speaking to the camera and interacting with strangers. I wanted them to hear their own voices, try things they probably wouldn’t ordinarily do, step outside their comfort zones and, most importantly, discover how it feels to show up.

This challenge isn’t just about introducing you to what your coach has planned. It’s also about showing up for yourselves, and these ladies are truly doing that. This series will be one of the ways you get to witness their growth, courage and willingness to become.

I’ll put this out first and then go ahead to share the different days of their contents for the challenge.

Wish me luck, guys. 🤭❤️ by @aryaangold

One year ago, I started attending @thewordchurchng with my boyfriend, Sammie. 😂❤️

The events leading up to that moment are so funny, layered and mixed up that nobody else could ever fully understand the story. But I suppose that’s part of what the Lord means when He tells us to trust Him as He leads and directs our paths.

One year later, I can confidently say that I have been planted by the riverside, upon good soil. The cares of this world, false doctrines and ungodly examples have no place taking root in me. I am eating the Word rightly, and I am growing well. I and my household!

I am particularly grateful for the labour, travail and journeys of my husband in discipling me in the Gospel. There were things he taught me that I honestly thought were impossible for me to experience, or that such realities even existed. But with my own eyes have I seen, and with my own life have I experienced.

My spiritual experiences have deepened, and I have grown to love God’s Word even more, becoming increasingly vulnerable to its truth, correction and leading. Not just in the company of my family and friends, but alongside people from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life who have become one family under the umbrella of Christ.

God’s mighty men are indeed not scarce! His sons have filled the earth, faithfully spreading His Gospel in word and in deed. And I have found a good number of them at TWC.

What a gift to be planted in a local church where Christ is preached, the Word is taught, and lives are being transformed.

Thank You, Jesus, for the gift of the local church. One year in, and I am exceedingly grateful. ❤️ by @aryaangold

A random day in October🥰 by @aryaangold

And finally, our third and final journaling series: CARE & BECOMING. 🤍❤️

If there’s one thing I love about The Oasis Circle, it’s how intentional we are about turning words into action. And this final series captures just that.

Every prompt is designed to move you towards doing something. Not just thinking about it, not just writing it down, but actually taking little steps that make a difference.

Here, we’re learning to care for ourselves while extending that same care to the people around us. Through simple, thoughtful and achievable daily actions, we’re making room for better habits, meaningful connections and a more intentional way of living.

Go at your own pace. Don’t rush the process or feel pressured to get everything done at once. Just be willing to take the steps. Because there’s a special kind of fulfilment that comes from moving beyond what you’ve written in your journal to actually living it.

We begin tomorrow! 🌱

Follow The Oasis Circle for our daily updates, reflections and moments from the journey.

We’re wishing you a beautiful and fulfilling month ahead.

November is truly ours for the taking! ❤️

You belong while you’re becoming. by @aryaangold

Our second journaling series is called ALIGNMENT. 🤍❤️

Sometimes, we get so caught up in how the year has gone that we forget we still have an opportunity to show up for ourselves, especially concerning the goals and intentions we set at the beginning of the year.

This is an invitation to pause, look back at your journey, acknowledge how far you’ve come, recognise what needs to change and begin creating room for what lies ahead.

We have approximately 60 days before we step into a new year. What do you think about dedicating the first 30 of those days to showing up for yourself with truth, intentionality and renewed vigour?

Don’t let the timeline intimidate you. Remember, little deposits made consistently compound over time. That’s the beauty of this journey. You don’t have to do everything at once; you just have to be willing to begin and keep showing up.

So, here’s another set of journaling prompts for everyone willing to reflect on the year they’ve had, realign with what matters and open themselves up to the possibilities of a new year.

I’m rooting for you. Let’s do this!

My Missys at The Oasis Circle are ready. Are you? 🌸✨

You belong while you’re becoming. by @aryaangold

The Missys of The Oasis Circle are about to experience some truly intentional and profound moments of self-reflection this November, and I’m so excited about the journey ahead. 🤍

But before we officially begin, I thought to share some of our journaling prompts with you all, starting with one of my favourites: GRATITUDE.

Sometimes, our minds become so occupied with the challenges, uncertainties and everyday demands of life that we forget to pause and acknowledge the many little things we have to be thankful for.

Gratitude teaches us to pay attention. To see the beauty in the ordinary, appreciate how far we’ve come and recognise the blessings we might otherwise overlook.

So, here are 10 days of gratitude journaling prompts to help you slow down, reflect and cultivate a heart of gratitude.

Whether you’re a journaling enthusiast or picking up a journal for the very first time, there’s something here for you.

Feel free to try them out, save this post and share it with someone who might need a little reminder to appreciate the beauty in their everyday life. 🤍

With love,
The Oasis Circle.
