"Working on 'The Paradise' has been a very special experience for me. The film demanded a raw, immersive and cinematic approach while still allowing us the freedom to explore different textures and lighting environments.
ㅤ
We had to constantly push the camera into difficult spaces, experimenting with movement, light, contrast and perspective. ALEXA 35 became an important part of that process. The way the system responds to light, holds detail in challenging situations and gives us the flexibility to shape the image in different environments, allowing me to push the visual language of the film while staying true to the storytelling. That trust between the cinematographer and the camera is something I value enormously."
