An unplanned visit to @osteriadimercato - we walked in, sat at the bar, and had a grand time! Shout out to @bigalquinones - check out the last slide to see him make coffee in the moka pot! ☕️
1. Pomodori e caviar - summer tomatoes, osetra sturgeon caviar, tomato consommé
2. Arancini allo zafferano - saffron arancini, salsa verde, Parmesan
3. Romanella - little gems, green goddess vinaigrette, fennel, pangrattato
4. Mezzelune - sweet corn, leeks, basil sauce, agrodolce
5. Tagliatelle - roasted chanterelle mushrooms, sofrito, saffron, chile

Reading all the descriptions on this menu makes me think about all the transitions we go through in life, ends with beginnings and seasonal renewal. We essentially recreate ourselves with new chapters in our life and this chapter we are sending off the very talented @willetcooks taken in The Blind Goat by @aryhungryyet

Kira has an all day happy hour on Monday! Highly recommend reservations if you decide to go. But literallyyyyy, the matcha kakigori was v different. You typically expect condensed milk right?? But nahhh white chocolate, sesame seeds to bring out that nutty flavor. Fun to see and fun to eat! Itadakimasu taken in Kira by @aryhungryyet

We loved all the places we went to in the Philippines including @bibio.mnl where Chef Kier Ibañez combines flavors from Cebu and New Zealand into his pop up series. Needless to say, we wiped our plates completely clean. Clean plate club

Bread & butter | sourdough, smoked tomato butter, flaky salt
Tuna crudo | baby cucumber, shallots, dalandan, cucumber mayo
Kangkong linguine | pork & fennel sausage, lemon rinds, pan grattato

We had a great time dining at @basohtx - we liked seeing some of the OG menu items and also some new items as well. The service was excellent, we got new plates and silverware with every dish. This is probably the closest we could get to the Basque Country. There’s just no other place with basque cuisine. Truly a gem 💎. Thank you team Baso! by @aryhungryyet
