Can hackathons drive humanitarian innovation in Yemen?

I had the pleasure of joining “Hackathons for Advancing Humanitarian Innovation in Yemen” as an invited guest speaker, sharing my experience with hackathons, innovation challenges, and youth-led initiatives.

As part of the Innovation Diwan series, organized by Diversity in Aden, I shared insights from my journey as the founder of Beyond Classroom Walls, highlighting how innovation can empower young people to turn ideas into meaningful solutions.

One key takeaway: Innovation isn’t always about creating something new; sometimes, it’s about finding better ways to solve challenges we’ve faced for years.

Grateful to Diversity for the invitation and the engaging discussion! 🤍

Youth voices in action.

Delivering an intervention on behalf of the Children and Youth Major Group (CYMG) at United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7), under United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), on the need to give chemicals management greater attention and funding as a core pillar of environmental and public health protection.

Youth are not only present in these spaces — our voices are being heard.

My graduation presentation from Amideast B2 🖤
I’m im love with talking about conserving energy especially my own 😁
Coz Einstein lied; energy is not unlimited especially ours, so we gonna take care of it to not slip in the wrong direction.
