Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. I wish I had noticed the signs sooner. I wish I had understood how badly you were hurting and done more to help you. I’ll always carry that with me, but when I think of you, I don’t want to remember only the things you struggled with. I want to remember you. I remember our technology class, dyeing our hair together, going to the mall and being pretty princesses, New Year’s Eve, stargazing, feeding the ducks, making bracelets, crocheting, skateboarding, Roblox, Bath & Body Works, and all the stupid conversations we had about literally everything. I’ll miss your crazy hair, your guitar, your laugh, your smile, your ridiculous appetite, your extra garlic bread at Olive Garden, and hearing you scream about things that weren’t even stupid. You were my best friend, but honestly, you were like my sister. I loved you so much, and I hope you always knew that. It hurts knowing we were supposed to grow up together, go to university together, have families, and make so many more memories that we’ll never get to make. I’m going to miss texting you, seeing your name pop up, and having another stupid thing to tell you. I’m going to miss every little thing about you that I never thought I’d have to live without. I wish I could go back and change so many things, but I can’t. All I can do now is remember you, love you, and carry you with me. I hope you knew how important you were to me. I hope you knew how loved you were. You were so full of light, Liv, and I’ll always be grateful that I got to know you, love you, and call you my sister. I love you.
