Hi Lovely Humans, I’m Hattie! 😊 Born and raised in Alberta, Canada, I grew up playing every sport imaginable; volleyball, basketball, soccer, rugby, track, badminton, you name it. Out of high school, I was offered a rugby scholarship, but feeling uncertain about my path, I turned it down. The years that followed were challenging, and I lost my way for a while. Everything changed when my brother introduced me to fitness, it gave me direction, purpose, and a passion that reshaped my life. I went on to earn my Exercise Science Diploma while competing as a dual-athlete in soccer and cross-country (where I captained our team and competed at Nationals both years). In 2017, I found CrossFit and immediately fell in love with the intensity and community. For the last 9 years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching athletes both in-person and online, including a stint coaching overseas in Bali! I joined the Ascend team three years ago as a gymnastics coach and have since expanded into 1:1 performance coaching. CrossFit transformed my life, and my mission is to help you unlock your full potential and achieve your goals. Athlete and coaching history: - Exercise Science Diploma - L-2 CrossFit Certification - 9 years of in person coaching - 6 years of online programming/coaching - 2x National Cross-Country Running Competitor - 5x CrossFit Individual Semifinals Competitor - 2x CrossFit Games Competitor by @ascendathlete

I am Brady Borchardt, i was born and raised in Amarillo TX, and moved down to the Houston area in 2023 to chase my dream of competing at the CrossFit Games! I have been coaching and competing in CrossFit since 2016, I am currently a level 2 CrossFit trainer and Active Life Candidate. I am currently perusing my level 3 coaching certification for CrossFit by the end of the year, and in the next 2 years I will become and active life professional! Coaching has been a calling on my life since elementary school where my PE teacher showed me how much of an impact you could make in others lives by teaching them to believe in themselves, and teaching others to dream big and achieve them! CrossFit has been such a great medium for that for those around me! Getting to help athletes improve physically and mentally, instill confidence that whatever life brings them they can overcome it! I joined @ascendathlete to do that with athletes who want to challenge themselves in the sport of CrossFit, those who want to compete at the highest level but don’t know where to start or how to get there! If you feel like your training has plateaued then it’s time for you to get with me or one of our coaches and let’s ASCEND TOGETHER! by @ascendathlete
