Our second Hero Blocks on the Comp wall is a fun one and it ends with a move you don’t see every day👀

Shoutout to the setting team for getting these boulders up. Sometimes it takes the whole team to get a boulder up and sometimes you have to sit and contemplate for awhile…

Remember to sign up for Hometown Heroes and make sure that you’re tagging us in all your Ascent Studio related climbing content❤️ taken in Ascent Studio Climbing & Fitness by @ascentstudio

Our final Hero Block of the slab! This one is a real test of foot coordination to get the toe hook to stick. Shoutout to @humanalx for this one❤️

Behold our third Hero Block from the slab set. This one is quite the balance test with a bit of a dynamic flair at the end. This one was set and climbed by the @chuff_lord taken in Ascent Studio Climbing & Fitness by @ascentstudio

We are happy to announce a temporary addition to our boulder sets: Hero Blocks! As we move closer to our Hometown Heroes bouldering comp, we wanted to include some extra “competition style” movement into our sets; our Hero Blocks are exactly that.

We have removed the graded tags from each of these boulders and instead labeled them with a simple “Hero Block” tag. We hope this encourages you to try these boulders, even if they are stylistically different than the climbs you may usually gravitate towards. This first slab set has 4 different Hero Blocks. We will be posting a video for each of these boulders over the next few days, so stay tuned.

From now until our Hometown Heroes competition on November 13th and 14th each bouldering set will have roughly 2 Hero Blocks for you to try. Make sure to film yourselves and share the content with us, we can’t wait to see you all crushing the Hero Blocks❤️

PS: Don’t forget that the Hometown Heroes early bird special runs until the end of the month. If you want to save on your registration fees, just scan the QR code on the Hero Boulder tags and it will take you straight to the signup page. taken in Ascent Studio Climbing & Fitness by @ascentstudio
