Sustainability is an increasingly important consideration for event organisers and temporary infrastructure plays a significant role in how events manage their environmental impact.

At Ascot Structures we are always exploring ways to reduce waste, improve material efficiency and introduce more sustainable structural solutions.

One example is the development of the Bamboo eco tent, which introduces natural materials into temporary event structures while maintaining the durability and performance required for large scale events.

Innovation in this area is not only about materials. It also involves smarter design, reusable structural systems and more efficient logistics.

Infrastructure providers have an important role to play in supporting more responsible event delivery and this is an area we are continuing to invest in.

We’re looking for a Marquee Erector to join the Ascot Structures team.

What you’ll get:

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to travel. Previous experience in marquee or temporary structure erection is preferred, but not essential, as training can be provided. CSCS, IPAF, PASMA and forklift/telehandler qualifications are advantageous.

The Henley Royal Regatta 2026 gets underway this week, and our team have once again been working with Sodexo Live to provide temporary structures that transform the open riverside spaces into welcoming hospitality environments for guests.

With months of planning behind us, our team focused on delivering the quality, reliability and attention to detail that this iconic summer event demands.

Royal Ascot 2026 starts tomorrow.

For us, it is always a significant moment in the events calendar and an opportunity to look back on the projects we have been proud to deliver at Ascot over the years.

From premium hospitality spaces to bespoke event infrastructure, every installation is designed to support an exceptional guest experience while meeting the unique demands of one of the UK’s most prestigious sporting and social events.

This year, our team has been back at Ascot Racecourse preparing for another busy Royal Ascot week. We will once again be delivering bespoke installations including our Orangery structures and Bamboo range, helping to create distinctive spaces for hospitality, entertaining and guest engagement.

We’re back at one of the most beautiful events of the season: @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show.

Our team has been on site delivering the first true Orangery structure seen in the grounds of the @royalhospitalchelsea

Constructed on our in-house system scaffolding, with a complex outside decking terrace encompassing listed trees and a bespoke Orangery handrail. The Orangery is being used for a VIP gala dinner on press day, then as a restaurant/café for visitors throughout the show week.

Working closely with the RHS on a complex site, to tight timelines, alongside multiple trades and to exacting standards, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure the build went as smoothly as possible.

Now, as the event opens to the public, it is great to see everything in action.

The structures are doing what they are designed to do. Creating a unique, welcoming, practical space that allow exhibitors, organisers, and visitors to pause, rest, and refuel whilst focus on enjoying the amazing show.

We’re looking forward to seeing even more people experience what makes this event so special.

Across the industry, planning has now given way to build schedules, logistics and long days on site. For our team, it marks the start of one of the busiest and most rewarding periods of the year.

Yesterday marked the start of the @royalwindsorhorseshow, running throughout the weekend within one of the UK’s most iconic event settings.

Over the past few weeks, the Ascot Structures team has been on site delivering the temporary structures, hospitality environments and event infrastructure that help bring an event of this scale to life.

Large scale live events demand precision, coordination and structures that perform under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of finish. From large span marquees to fully integrated hospitality spaces, every element has been carefully planned and delivered to support organisers, partners and guests throughout the event.

Looking back at previous years reminds us why this event is always such a highlight in the calendar, and it is great to see everything now ready as the show gets underway.
